That peterson did not want to go to nick saban. Now i only choice is arrington. He will make a big difference

If we don't need to pay him like Peterson, sure. Putting that much cash into an OLB when we're thin at other positions would be foolish though.

exactly....these guys cost too much money ....we are like the redskins sometimes i swear...all these FA's and 1 and done players so no chemistry is formed and it loses the 'team' feeling..i dunno

i dont want to lose shulters :fire:

Since you're 14 I won't be too harsh on how little sense the above sentence makes.

Everyone needs to cool off on Arrington. He is not a consistent player, he blows coverages, and is oft injured. He is known for making big hits but if you follow the Skins you know him more for his blown coverages. Save the money and trust that Saban can find another Crowder in the draft.

Arrington would be nice, but I think he's after a lot of $. I can see Saban going with a LB in the 1st round of the draft.

Like another Crowder, I can deal with that..:D

Need is a bit strong. Another linebacker would be nice, but I think we'll be fine going into next season with what we have. FA has just begun, history tells us that many more FA's will be released in the coming months (a la Schulters and Traylor last year.) Plus there's the draft.

We need Arrington like we need a hole in the head. How about a linebacker who likes contact more than running around in space ankle tackling tight ends; how about a linebacker, one of four that'd start, who doesn't cost 4 million a year, gobbling our cap space; how about a guy who you don't have to babysit to carry out his gap responsibility? Washington spent a boatload on this guy and they're letting him walk. What's that tell you?

there's plenty of talent coming up in the draft even in the later rounds. If Arrington is willing to sign for a reasonable contract which I don't see happening, I'm all for it. But if that's not the case, I trust that Saban will find a nice sleeper that'll mold right into our D.

We will draft Chad Greenway in the first or grab one of the two Gator linebackers in rd three. Probably the latter.

he would be nice to have but he's too much money. we could better spend that money on Ashworth to solidify the o-line. I think we draft a OLB in the 3rd round like McIntosh. than have Spragan, Hodge and the rookie battle for the starting spot
