1ST ROUND PICK-TAKE DWAYNE JARRETT OR TED GINN Jr.

I think its to hard to pass on these talented receivers. I know we need OL help as well as other positions, but i think Chambers sucks and we should trade him. Maybe we can trade Chambers for a 3rd or even 2nd round pick. What do you think about this plan.

Head coach: Schottenheimer (offensive minded)
1st round: Jarrett or Ginn Jr
2nd: OL
3rd or possibly 2nd: for Chambers: LB
3rd: DB
4th: LB
5th and 6th: DL

I hope Jarrett falls to us, that guy is money. I also hope Chambers get's traded that guy is the most inefficient reciever on the team moving him around wont fix his problems.

I wouldn't trade Chambers until we have a proven replacement. Ginn would be a nice addition though. Leave the speculation until after the combine though

WE need a QB and backup RB. Too much defense.

Im with u on the Qb, but a backup RB? No, we have many other needs and with Ricky coming back we'll be ok at the RB position

Take a look at the physical measurements of dwayne jarrett vs. randy moss:
Jarrett- 6-5, 210 lbs.
Moss- 6-4, 210 lbs.

Both these guys attack the football and make plays. I'm not much a USC fan but watching Jarrett play this season was astonishing. And all those people hoping to trade for Moss to reunite him with Pep, why not just draft Jarrett? Moss's abilities minus the attitude. Plus if there's anything CPep needs is a go to receiver to gain some confidence, and if Cpep can create whatever chemistry that was with moss with Jarret.. mmmhmm... Jarrett could be an immediate impact player on our offense, lined up across from Chambers with Welker/Hagan in the slot --could be so dangerous. I believe that Chambers has the talent, but may just get frustrated when he doesn't have the chance to run the field and instead be forced into under routes. With Jarrett on the other side (and possibly some 'different' offensive play calling and a quarterback who's got the arm to get the ball accurately and quickly downfield), they could be an amazing deep threat combo. And you know if we need an under route run that Welker is good for it because that man is a beast.

Ginn, Jr has not declared and until he does, he's not an option.
Jarrett would be a great addition if he runs in the 4.4 to 4.5 range. Anything slower than that I would say leave him alone.
If Chambers sucks, then why was he the only receiver on the team that commanded double coverage? Besides, if he sucks so bad, why would any team give us a 2nd or 3rd pick for him?
We don't have a 5th round pick.

If Jarrett had Moss' speed (or even close to it) then you can make this comparison and entertain thoughts of him being a #1 WR. Keyshawn Johnson don't think he's ready for the NFL because he's not physical enough. I just hope he's not like his former teammate Mike Williams. Great college player but so-so pro.

i think jarret will be long gone by number 9 but both robert meachem and jason swain are in the draft this season huge recievers with good speed but enough size to fight off dbs for the ball. and if youll look at the yac for the ut vols this season youll see both these guys are beast once they get the ball in there hands meachum may be a late first rounder but we could get swain in the 3rd to 5th rounds

you might have bit into some of the Jarred Hype but who is going to pick him so he can be LONG GONE-he doesnt have Johnson or Ginn "game speed" so I say pass-he wont be there in the 2nd but he will most definately be there for about the 20th pick-we have enough posetion reciever-we need someone to spread the field

he doesnt suck and he definately does NOT command double coverage like a real number one should-let the record show that Chambers is a good reciever-but he's not what we need him to be and thats a Number 1 so we do need a reciever in the first round especially if we sign an O minded coach...the fans and this organization need to stop thinking good and think great-thinking good has been the earmark of mediocre for the past several years

Me-shawn doesnt have any right to talk about any reciever in this league or in the draft other than his own half-a** play and terrible attitude

For all those Ginn supporters see what a Buckeye blog say's about him:

A nasty little rumor

I heard something today...and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I have a couple of friends inside the Ohio State football locker room, and apparently "something" happened on the sidelines of the game Monday night.

I will not be revealing my sources, but I will assure you that they are good enough for me. Debate what you hear as you wish, deny or confirm the existence of this rumor, whatever you want. I'm passing on what I have been told.

As you may or may not have known, Ted Ginn Jr has been playing all year with a fractured bone in his foot. Early reports discussed a bad toe, but were never explored in-depth.

Anyway, one play into the BCS Title Game, Roy Hall rolled up Ginn's foot and sent Ginn limping to the locker room for tests. Later in the quarter, Ginn came running back onto the sidelines, clearly anxious to return.

The rumor says that Ginn's father, upon seeing his son ready to play again, sought out Junior and told him that he would NOT be entering into the game again. Words along the lines of "you're in the draft after this game" and "it's not that important". Ginn sported a pair of crutches in the 2nd half.

I am not going to take issue with it. IF it happened, I can understand why he forbade his son to play. Millions of dollars a year....yeah, that's tempting enough for me to say that to my son. And IF it happened, it upsets me a little bit for reasons I can't properly assess.

I hope it didn't happen. But it's the info I have and I felt it necessary to share.
