When I watch other teams I see leaders who inspire teamates to excel such as Joe Horn for the Saints who is miked up tonight and I realized that we really do lack leadership on the offensive side of the ball. This is especially important on the road in tight division games.McMike gets pumped but as of now the closest we have to a leader is Gus Frerotte who is kind of like a coach on the field. He is keeping us out of very bad plays like the pick sixes we've seen in the past seasons. Don't forget that he brought us back in the forth quarter and the game was 10-7. I saw a thread calling for Feeley, trust me guys he would kill us dead. He is right where he belongs, third string and the worst disaster of Spielmans time here. Anyway, who could step up and be a leader on this offense. CC seems to have a mild personality, Ronnie just got here and I don't see anybody playing well enough on the o-line to say a word. Could Rickey lead when he gets back? I don't see many other choices. Any thoughts on the matter?

It seems the McMichael is the most vocal guy on the offense. Traditionally, the QB is the leader on offense.

Ricky IMO is not the type to be a leader, vocal or otherwise.

Gus was really showing some emotion in game one. We need players like Chambers to step-up and act like McMike and Gus.
