The Dolphins D will not be as good as everyone expects why? Because our DB are average thats why we are always rank so damn low on everybody's polls the LB and the D-line is all we have to really brag about last season Miami gave up big play in the passing game that bills game was crazy (lee Evens) and why the hell we cant find someone the stick Eric M he run juke jump and caught all over or DB's Jason Allen at S and I dnt think he's gonna do any better at CB and we dont even know who our S are and who do we have at CB besides that guy from New York whatever his name was the D only started to get better when the D-line and the LB stared putting pressure on the QB what am saying is are DB's are not good and we will never make the Playoff's until we get some CB thats were we are at our weakest thats why our offseason was rank so low because we did nothing to help our D but sign a guy who about to be done in 2 or 3 more years dont get me wrong I expect teams to have A hard time running the ball but when it comes to passing we gonna get beat thats why we will never beat out the Pats for first place in our divison Tom Brady is just to damn good for our laggy D and I hate to say it sorry butt DB's.

I've never said anything like this to anyone about their post but:

1) Punctuate
2) Not every first letter of a word needs caps lock on or shift held down.


Anyway on to the point:

Last year our DB's were so bad that we ranked #5 in the league in defense. This year our front seven should be better.

Second point: We beat Tom Brady last year 21-0

Third Point: Who has high expectations for us to begin with?
 
Wow, the topic was a good topic just getting through the post was confusing. Yeah, perhaps the DB's are the weak point of our defense, but I would not think "When It Comes To Passing We Gonna Get Beat Thats Why We Will Never Beat The Pats Tom Brady Is Just To Damn Good For Our And I Hate To Say It Sorry Db's."

I really think, although, suspect in talent, we just need our CB/Safeties to play solid football and make some plays without giving up the big play. We are going to be in every game with this Defense, and the Offense will score points. I we have a concern it the CB/Safety positions but I still think we are easily Top 5 D in the league. With an improved offense, and winning the field position with KR/PR we will be fine.
 
In the NFL I will always take:

Great front seven and average defensive backs.

over

Average front seven and great defensive backs.

If you get pressure on the quarterback the defensive backs will look better, if you don't get pressure even great defensive backs will look bad.
 
With J Peezy adding even more pressure than last year, another year of continuity, more experience for young player like Daniels/J Allen and oh yeah that Satan guy not breathing down everyones neck, I see no reason why they shouldn't improve.

bro chill homie...like someone else said its better to have a great front 7 and average db's rather than an average front 7 and great dbs. think about it bro, if you get pressure on the qb and u get into the back field u'll disturb the entire timing and what not with the qb and the wide outs. i mean its not like we still have reggie howard on the team anymore...

Miami's DB's are better than the Colts and Steelers and Patriots (Troy Brown as a DB?) when they won the Superbowl so It's NOT because of the DB's that the team hasn't done anything. How many short fields did the offense give up with turnovers? How may 3 and outs did the offense have that kept the Defense on the field.

Few Turnovers and Ball Control that is the key to winning. Unless your offense can put up 35 pts a game i.e. Colts, Rams, '84 Fins.
 
I know we don't have any 'Champ Baily's" in our defensive backfield, but I really believe we are going to be alright. They may get burned some (but then again so does Champ) but I don't see them as being 'the reason' for a poor season.

Anyways, How can you get all over a rookie that didnt excell? Yes, he didnt get full training camp but he was a rookie and not every rookie plays up to there college level the first season.

Are you talking about W.Allen? Lets see, 56 Total Tackles, 11 Passes Deflected, and 1 Int but yeah hes done.
