Our running game and pass defense looks suspect.... I'm still don't like using that 2nd on D. Thomas, but it's still preseason.

Correction: we need to get some OLINEMAN to help this team

lol for real tho. We need help and fast in pass blocking and Run blocking

The line looks terrible...Jake Long will help, but we having a glaring problem on the right side of the line

Henne has made the most of what the line has given him tonight. Great first half

Thomas is a rookie who didn't have much of an offseason so granted he has not been the best at finding holes, but the line is the main problem here.

Yeah, Thomas just looks like he hasn't found a comfort zone yet. He is playing like a rookie right now. Hopefully it clicks for him soon.

Long will immediately upgrade the OL. The right side needs help though. Put Carey back at RT and find us a RG.

I'm willing to give them some time on D. Thomas but there is no excuse for the line being in the state it is. Isn't that what these idiots came in here preaching since day 1? Build the lines and establish the running game and blah blah bs blah blah. I don't see a strong running game and the line sucks. Ireland should be on the hotseat

If you look at the 3 preseason games, Miami couldn't hold their own against the Falcons' starters, they dominated the last place Panthers, and they were gridlocked with the middle of the road Bucs. I think that puts Miami around 8 - 8 right where we think they are. That's based on these 3 games with the starters playing.

The problem is they are all maulers. Get some athleticism please.

Its a matter of run blitzing and aggressive defense. Atlanta and Tampa Bay have strong DL's and have good players that come at you in waves. Its a matter of sending more than you can block and overwhelming your offense in the trenches. We seem to be vulnerable to these kind of teams. We don't seem to be neither prepared or tough enough.

Sparano's specialty? It got him hired-it just may get him fired.

These idiots, especially our alleged "OL guru" head coach have had four years to get this OL right, and aside from Jake Long the line is about as bad as it was when they got here.

Carey surely would be better then Columbo but he still would not do much better then he did last year which is not much. There is good reason why they agreed to void the last two years of his contract

I can't blame D. Thomas for looking bad when this oline just isn't that good..
