With the Giants and Titans both losing top WR talent and our season on the rocks, the FO needs to take advantage of this situation and build for the future (regardless of whether they are a part of it, or not). We should be able to get what we invested in Marshall (2 second rounders) and maybe more if a bidding war ensued.

A couple of news sources have said that Ireland's job may be safe, and if that's the case he needs to set himself up for success and deal some of our high-priced talent.

If we could get a 1st and another pick I might look into it otherwise no thank you. Marshall is still a good receiver no reason to trade him unless we get a great deal.

Lets do it let's give all you Marshall hates your way and watch him explode on a new team!

If his job is safe, then it saves me money on tickets next year too.

If we get good value, I'd consider it. That rage-filled unnecessary roughness penalty was a small reminder that we walk a fine line with Brandon. There might be a point where he does something seriously detrimental to the team. Probably off the field. Not to mention his lack of clutch on the field has been disturbing. Even with all that, it would still have to be a very sweet deal to be worth trading him.

Don't trade Marshall, a few more losses and he will be a big part of dividing this team and propelling us to the top of the Luck sweepstakes.

and with this regimes drafting resume, what would we do with those draft picks? not a god damn thing.

I'm not hating, I'm being realistic. The holes on defense outweigh the benefits that Marshall gives us on offense.

I'd take a second and a fourth, but I doubt anyone would offer much of anything for him.

So we create a hole on offense to attempt to fix a hole on defense? I don't understand the logic. If we get a new coach and draft a QB, Marshall will be fine. Who would we have start? Hartline?

Hell I'd trade him straight up for Joe Haden... Miami would then have a true shutdown corner capable of playing catch-man techniques and employ pattern-matching concepts in the secondary.

Marshall is your typical, good NFL diva wide receiver until he gets matched up against a legitimate cornerback who's capable of shutting him down.. then he gets frustrated and resorts to his penalties that cost his team.

If I was coming in to replace the current brainiacs, trading Marshall for something close to what Ireland traded for him would be my first effort.

Yup, lets trade the WR that has 100 yard receiving in 2 out of our 3 games this year. Brilliant...

That being said, if it helped us secure Luck, count me in on trading any-goddamn-body on this team.
