We need to deal Marshall for draft picks

With the number of former playmakes not currently making plays on this team, I have to think Marshall's problem is situational.

Here is the list of playmakers who are not making plays:

Marshall
Cameron Wake
Karlos Dansby
Reggie Bush
Randy Starks
Jason Taylor

That suggests a systemic problem IMO, rather than an individual one.

That said, I'm not sure I'd want Brandon Marshall on a team whose player leadership I was trying to develop around a young quarterback.

Brian Hartline has emerged as the sure handed receiver on this team. Right now he might be the only one. Marshal may be a curse taking throws away from some of the other guys who would have a chance to step up when the lights are on if they had the opportunities now obligated to our “star”. I hate that mentality, it was used on Orande Gadston. All he did was make velcro hands grabs but because he wasn’t a high draft pick we discounted what he was actually producing when the ball hit his hands. Keep guys who catch no matter what, and get rid of diva guys who don’t make the effort. Right now Brandon is no different than Randy McMichael was.
