I just read about some rumors that the Jets have expressed interest in T.O.
We need to improve our secondary fast if he is to go there.

<Jan. 10> The Eagles plan to give Owens' agent, Drew Rosenhaus, permission today to seek a trade for the receiver, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Multiple teams have expressed interest in Owens, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New York Jets. Any team interested in Owens would either have to assume the contract he negotiated with the Eagles or attempt to work out a new deal with the wide receiver. Owens has five seasons remaining on his contract and is due a $2.5 million signing bonus and $5 million roster bonus March 1. He is due a base salary of $770,000 next season.
If Rosenhaus is unable to find a taker for Owens, the Eagles will release him before the March 1 deadline, which is when the league's new calendar year begins.
