We need to limit Ricky

Ricky has had some big plays for us, but I just think we need to stop trying to force him into the gameplan, and just let Ronnie do his thing and give him the ball 20+ times a game. Its obvious Ricky is a nothing like his old self, and he's becoming a fumble machine.

What do you guys think?

That wasn't even a fumble. They just couldn't reverse it because it was a called one on the field.

I know. But Ronnie has only fumbled once this season, Ricky has fumbled 3 if you don't count that last one.. if anything, if Ronnie doesen't get 20+ carries, at least try Cobbs a lot more..

I agree. We need to use Ricky more as a receiver out of the backfield as he has great soft hands for a RB but he is definitely fumble prone.

That's catching though, as far as THAT goes, definetely keep him in for that.. im just talking about running plays

Ricky has singlehandedly saved our bacon on a number of occasions... As others mentioned that catch in the back of the endzone and the first down.. He deserves his touches.

Also keep in mind that Ronnie is the centerpiece of the offense and the opposition gameplans him as such. Only the two teams on the field know the packages and personnel he is drawing so without that information it is a little premature to suppose that Ronnie is being ignored...

Never said he's being ignored, I just said he's not geting enough touches. Giving your starting runningback 8 carries.. averaging about 10 carries a game on the season, is not acceptable to me..

Are u guys watching the same ricky im watching? Ricky needs more carries if you ask me just not on 3rd and 1. I saw countless 6-7 yard gains out of him. Just cause your not seeing huge running plays out of him doesnt mean hes not playing well, his speed is there and needs to be used

Not acceptable? Yes, I think you're right. We should give him 20+ carries and maybe we can then have another season like last year. At least Ronnie would have his share of carries.
