Franks is not reliable. He can't kick long field goals, he's certainly not automatic inside 50 and now he's missing extra points!! Gotta be somebody better out there. IMO we need to try kickers out this week because Franks is going to cost us. Great win overall though. Great night!!!
 
Agreed... need to look for a replacement. Every kick is to his left. He is barely making extra points
 
What for we all know that kickers are incapable of reaching their potential under Rizzi. How many kickers do we have to let go of only to watch them excel other places. From Lindo (not on Rizzi obviously) to Carp to Feely to Sturgis it's just crazy.
 
I somewhat agree...although many kickers are missing extra points this year, come January if we are in the playoffs we will not go amywhere with a kicker who cant kick a 50 yard FG, plain and simple
 
thats his first xp miss this year. wait until the offseason.
 
We should have been looking at kickers all season. This guy is not good enough, it makes a huge difference knowing that you have to get the ball inside the 20 to give your kicker a chance. That extra point was forgivable in the end as nothing rode on it but it's not the first kick he's missed this year.
 
I hope that the word kickers in the title is plural to include Matt Darr as well. I swear to god if miami drafts another player from crappy Tennessee.
 
Going into the game Franks was one of only a handful of kickers who hadn't missed an extra point this season.
 
Franksenstein Sucks.. If we do make the playoffs he will be a huge liability! Dude scares me every time he kicks.
 
Tells me alot when we are bitching about kickers! I say the Engineer will win us some games.
 
At the end of the half tonight I felt we had no shot of kicking a long field goal. Way too risky. Thats not good and will end up hurting you in the long run.
 
Bring in competition in offseason but for this year win or lose we have to ride with franks. Show confidence in him and hope to be rewarded because he has the leg if his head is right. Like others have said a missed xp or 2 are to be expected with the new rules.
