and get a wr and we need to bring in two more inexperinced rookies because this piss poor wr corp is about toreally piss me off.
I think we need to use our tightends more if the receiving corp is going to just stand araound and drop every pass thrown their way.

do we need to look at bringing in another safety and another cb too.? i think the rb and oline is looking fair to good abd i think the qbs are getting no help from the wrs and this is making hard to evaluate the qbs in my opinion.
 
Just wait until the next pre-season game. I think you'll see the WR's start to come around. Bess and Kircus will start to shine I think. If we add Glenn, that would be awesome... I'm not sure what to think about Wilford yet. I also think with Pennington at QB, it will make things a little easier because if he's one thing, it's accurate.
 
no sense in trading anything for a wr, were not a wr away from winning anything... all the pieces wont be in place for three more years.. have patience grasshopper
 
No more trades.....no more giving away draft picks. If anything, we wait for the waiver wires. It's time to develop what we have.

Skins fan makes a good point. We do need to bring in a vet like Glenn to help us out though. Hagan is looked like a bust ever since we drafted him, and hopefully Wilford will start to produce. We shouldn't trade for anybody though.
 
ya i have to agree with this guy! im super woried about our wideouts! i think we need to get experienced guys and im actually surprised we didnt do so in Free Agency when there were plenty of guys available! i honestly thought Wilford was going to be dominant here in MIA but he has not impressed! and i feel the same about our DBs besides from W.Allen

how would bringing in 2 more inexperienced rookies help the wr core? on another note, so you are like the Tom Cruise of this site? the "Top Gun'?
 
I think our safeties can hold up but how about out 2nd round pick for lito sheppard and a 5th round pick... this guy is a stud at corner and he is young and very athetic. We should either get him or see what Ari. wants for Boldin

Lito Sheppard is injury prone (and hasn't impressed me at all the 2x a year I see him play)....

well since it pisses you off...im sure BP will make the trade...

there is no need to give up draft picks to temporarily improve the WR corp, we are rebuilding and need to focus on long term...

furthermore, its been ONE PRESEASON GAME :rolleyes2:
 
I know he's gonna miss the first 4 games, but I'd take Chris Henry. I know I know.. South Beach... yada yada.

I look at it this way Parcells can get this guy on track. By raining obscenities at him while explaining to him this is his last shot. He's dealt w/ plenty of problem children thru the years. I like Bess, Kircus, Anderson and company look good vs 2nd teamers, but let's face it none of those guys can lead a WR corps just yet.
 
Don't forget about Keyshawn I have a feeling the reason the FO isnt panicking is they like the young guys who are another training camp away from really contributing as WR. So they will bring Key in to hold the fort for a year and help with the mentoring of this young squad. At one point in the 4th quarter we had 3 wide outs in the game at the same time who were UDFA. It's going to take time for a couple of those guys to contribute at the WR position but they will help on Special teams. Bess will probably give us some good numbers this year. I can see Keyshawn being Pennington favorite target until Ginn and Hagan take over by the end of this year. Key is big and strong with good hands who will run the 8-15 yard pattern and make the tough catch. Then you sneek some speed down the field to keep them honest. IMO we will see Keyshawn at somepoint next week.
 
Yeah sorry I don't wanna trade away some 1st or 2nd rd pick for a reciever right now. We have a young reciever in Ginn that we just drafted last year in the 1st rd... ready to give up on him already? We can sign someone in the next few weeks and go into the season with what we got. There's always the draft where you can usually find pretty good recievers in the early to middle rds. We need to build this team the right way, unless a Randy Moss type deal is staring us in the face, like giving up a 4th rd pick or something, I don't even move on anything until the offseason. It's only been 1 preseason game, lets see what happens.
