We need to watch Ryan Fitzpatrick, he might be a sleeper player. He showed flashes of greatness in the St. Louis game. I was amazed, the only reason I watched was because I had money on St. Louis. He threw for 300 and 3 tds in ONE HALF! I don't think we should do a crazy trade, or something unbelievable, that some post on this site. I just hope our scouts watch him and follow this guy, he could be something serious. But did anybody catch this guy, pretty amazing.
 
very nice debut by the kid. There were some people on this board prior to the draft saying we should draft him ( i wasn't one of them). They should all pat themselves on the back for that call
 
I wanted us to take him in the 4th round.

But why should we watch him now? Ram's will not let him go.
 
I guarntee not one of our QB's could put up 300 yards or 3 tds in a half on the texans, they couldn't even do it in a whole game.

agreed, anyone who had the chance to take him in the 5th-7th round and did not are prolly slapping themsleves in the face....
 
I recall a guy by the name of jay Fiedler torching us in a playoff game.what Fitzpatrick did was nice,but lets not get to crazy here,it was against the Texans.
 
Played against the Texans.
Plays in a system that thrives on the long pass plays.
Plays with one of the best receiving corps in the NFL.
Played from behind.

Just a few things to consider.
 
I watched that whole game. Let me tell you, that kid looks like he is the real deal. I don't care who he was playing against. He throws a nice tight spiral with a lot of velocity and he showed great touch when it was needed. He can move around pretty well and showed poise in the pocket also. The announcers doing the game said that Rams coach Joe Vitt said that he is the most talented young quarterback he has been around since he was with Green Bay when they had Matt Hasselbeck. The announcers said that as soon as he came into the game not after he got on a roll.

Not one of our QB's has Holt, Bruce, Curtis, Looker, and Mcdonald along with Pace & Co.
 
While I agre he had a great debut, i'd have to see more of Fitzpatrick to actually consider him a good QB...

that half may have been a fluke....if he keeps producing the way he did, then this kid is for real
