Last winter we apparently went for Ramsey with a first...

wow. so we were going to give away the whole draft for mediocre players? thank GOD spielman is gone... this guy is the worst negotiator ever. horrible eye for value...
 
I'm conflicted. I believe Ramsey would currently be more valuable to the team than AJ Feeley is. Then again, as many know I'm extremely happy with how Vernon Carey is turning out.
 
Well the way Ramsey has been playing lately, I wonder what Nick and company would offer the Skins...

lets trade them Ramsey for Feeley straight up. I think that's fair, and probably would help out both teams. Ramsey just wants out of there, they need another QB with experience. Feeley won't necessarily excel in Washington, but he won't be much worse than Ramsey. For us, Ramsey couldn't be worse than Feeley, and who knows? Maybe he'll grasp Linehan's system quickly.... Ramsey went to Tulane, didn't he? not too far from LSU.... (ok THAT stat is a reach...)

I remember this and i am glad that the Skins didn't do it. I really don't know why they didn't accept it because i would've.
 
I'd be willing to give up Feeley + a 2nd day pick for Ramsey. Feeley will likely be released as soon as we have a replacement, and he's got a big contract.
 
If this is true...Man, how did Spielman get the job. I think I should've applied.

Resume reads: Led the Dolphins to 6 consecutive SuperBowl titles in Madden Football. Drafted 4 rookies of the year in Franchise mode and was responsible for the big trade of Seith McKinney for HB#36 who led the league in rushing for 4 straight years.
 
So that would've been 1-4 draft picks: 1 for Ramsey, 2 for Feeley, 3 for Lamar Gordon, 4 to move up to take Carey. Sheesh!

You on drugs? Ramsey would have negated both Feeley and the #4 for Carey.
