He made the club’s 53-man roster after returning 12 punts for a 14.6-yard average, including an 81-yarder for a touchdown, and ten kickoffs for a 19.7-yard average in the preseason. He also caught two passes for 31 yards and a score. He was with San Diego for their season-opening 27-20 win over Houston when he brought back four kickoffs for a 25.5-yard average, including a long of 33.


I think he will be a pretty good returner for us.

Wes Welker was to Texas Tech's offense was Zach Thomas was for Tech's defense. Undersized, unheralded recruit who turned himself into a very productive player based on work ethic and heart. I think he'll stick here.
