There was a thread this afternoon about the referees playin a role in the outcome of the game. Well, they did there best but the Dolphins kept their composer and ended up over come some atroshis calls. That accompanied by two converted fake punts and the Dolphins win big! Henne looked great, the running game was solid= lots of opptimisum! Lets go Dolphins!

Indeed. This was as close to a fixed game as you can get. That pass interference call, and that unnecessary roughness on The Gerbil, good lord.

i am biased, but the nfl is turning into such a ***** league. i loved that hit by wilson, part of the reason we brought him in, and that was about as bogus a PI call as i have ever seen, even my wife who knows jack about football said "why the dolphins guy didnt touch him".

Plus we had to waste a challenge on the Edwards TD when he was down at the one and I don't think they got in on their last TD run either, I think he was down at the one also.

you cant say it is a waste of a challenge, when they had to run another play to get in the endzone. anything can happen from a penalty, bad center ab exchange, or they could go sammie smith and cough it up on the goaline and we could run it back. just never know what can happen, i dont think you should ever ever concede a score

It was a good challenge but if the refs had done their jobs we wouldn't have had to use it.

Don't start w/ the ref BS, ther were bad calls against both teams and that PI wasn't one of them.

The PI was a good call, he grabbed Edwards' arm.

The unsportsmanlike conduct call was a good call, they will call that every time hitting a defenseless receiver like that.

He was in the EZ and them moving it back to the one w/o clear evidence saved you a timeout which was huge.

C'mon. That was a HORRIBLE pass interference call. Braylon didn't even look around for a flag so you KNOW it was a bad call.

That PI call was awful but looking bat at Wilson's hit he did go helmet to helmet that's probably why it got called

When most Jets fans acknowledge that PI call was bogus....then it clearly was just that.

I thought the PI call was atrocious, you rarely see calls like that that determine the outcome of the game. There was so little contact it was almost non existent. I hate PI calls on anyone when it isn't blatant. And it didn't inhibit his chance to catch the ball.

And the roughness, Your right, they will make that call these days, and it's bogus, just like all the lame QB rules, that's just good football. A safety doing his job. He didn't know he wasn't going to make the catch, he was just making sure he didn't. This league gets softer every year.

I know there were more calls that went against us I didn't like but i can't recall them off the top of my head, i'll have to watch the game again. But I know I felt like we got the short end of the stick in the officiating department.

Watch it in live speed and not slo mo. That little grab of the arm changed everything on that play, it was a good call. It could have gone either way but there was more than enough evidence to make the call.

You are the ONLY person I've heard say this. Analysts, announcers, sports casters, and fans from both sides as well as fans of other teams say that was an AWFUL call. Dude hardly touched him. No more contact than any other deep ball.

Worst Ref'd Game By Far.. I Always Expect Bs Calls When We Play The Jets But This Game Was Ridiculous.. Glad We Had The Deterimination To Still Get The Win Even Tho The Nfl Had Other Plans...

I think you'd be singing a pretty different tune if the shoe was on the other foot. That very minimal contact gave the Jets 50 something yards I think it was? and 1st and goal, essentially a free TD.

Refs have too much discrepancy on PI calls. Sometimes they allow significant contact and other times zero. That needs to change because the reward to the offense for that penalty is huge. That inconsistency isn't fair to anybody, especially the defender.

It should only be called if the contract is severe or completely inhibits the receiver from catching the ball. I don't think that was the case here.
