Being that he has done outstanding in 2005 and 2006, yes I think Saban will excel again to help this team in 2007 with the all 6 picks at current.

Why the coinflip??? Cleveland picks 3 and Tampa Bay picks 4 based on SoS, the Packers/Bear game has no meaning to that.

Think about the statement you just made. Obviously the Packers/Bears game has an effect on the Cleveland/TampaBay winning percentage.

6 picks???...we had six when Wannspiel left the cupboard bare...shouldn't we have 8-10 picks?...(i realize there are only 7rnds...and we lose 1 for Blue Skies).

Ok, but not enough to make the SoS% identical I thought....will double check the numbers I thought SoS % wasnt going to change enough....thanks. (Ah, ok, so a GB win puts both SoS identical...pretty cool....then conf records are same, so finally a coin flip to determine order.)

• Strength of schedule for the previous season is the first tie-breaker for teams with the same winning percentage.

• Divisional and conference records are the next step in the tie-breaking procedure.

• As a last resort, a coin toss is used to determine the order of selection for teams with the same winning percentage.

why do we have the #9?, we should have the #7, MIN and HOU should be after us, they have a better record interconf and divisional...

7 rounds = 7 picks. We gave up our 5th for Joey. That leaves us 6 (unless things change with RFA, etc)

No we dont have any extra ones since as you state Wanny left us quite bare!

Only 2 words should describe our draft strategy: TRADE DOWN.
We need numbers, lots of picks, the more the merrier.
Even though Jimmie Johnson quit in disgrace and couldn't judge offensive talent for us if it bit him, he still espoused to the strength in numbers theory and got us Jason & Zack.

Strength of Schedule is the first and often only thing that matters come draft order...not divisional, not conf, not even head to head.

SoS % only, and the weaker SoS gets the better pick.

We are tied at 6-10 with Houston and Minny, our SoS is hardest so we pick last. Their SoS is easy, logically meaning they should have won more games. NFL says they need more help since they played an easier schedule but could still only win 6 games.

It rotates each round....so we pick #9 in round 1, but #7 in round 2, then #8 in round 3, etc.
