We played better with the backups than the starters

I think you are developing a theory with only a scant amount of information. Correlation vs. Causation.

Now... if you had said, "You know, once Tua stopped trying to force everything through his best players and began to trust himself to hit his other targets, things improved..." I think I would agree with you.

We scored 17 points in ONE quarter with all backups 10 points all game with who they call starters. Keep the shades on

Well we did the best we could with what we had. It's not like we have any pro bowl recievers, offensive linemen and running backs.

With ALL of our better receivers out of the game, Tua is going to be forced to throw to receivers that he is not comfortable with what they will do.
This will probably lead to more interceptions, but promote growth. This could help us in the long run, even if he puts up a multi-interception game.
He's been a bit slow to throw to spots that his eyes see. He isn't the natural gun-slinger personality and being forced to do this should do wonders for his development.

Its called playing with nothing to lose. We wouldn't want to repeat some of those throws like the Gesicki td in triple coverage but with us being down by several scores you absolutely let it rip. You can't lose a game with a throw when you're already down 3 scores.

its time to take the training wheels off before the 4th quarter, i think getting the int out of the way was huge for him going forward...he cant play conservative all the time, im not promoting sheer recklessness but i feel like hes hesitant alot which causes him to be a bit late on the pass or throws it in the dirt...gotta just let the kid play and knock off these trick plays, were we really gonna throw him a pass today?
