We run the same plays

Anyone else notice that we probably only ran 5 plays all game? There were MANY times I knew EXACTLY what play was going to be run. They flip the play sometimes but it's the same thing every time.

Now it worked because we executed but I'm going to assume defense are going to catch on.

Yes, I was calling the plays before the snap and I was right way more often than I was wrong. If us fans can figure out what the play is going to be then you know damn well opposing defenses/coaches know what they're doing.

Maybe they kept calling the same plays because they kept working? I'm sure they have counters to those plays out of the same formations and will use them in games later on.

Give me a break! The plays worked but they obviously wore them out when you've already ran the draw 10 times and keep doing it even though it hasn't worked since the 5th time you've ran it.

The Phins gouged the Colts with the same 5-6 plays all night. If they plays keep working (and they were) then you keep going back to the well. If something is working so well, why switch it up? As an added benefit, we keep some of the rest of our playbook under wraps. It's not like we don't have more plays in the book; I'm sure it's as thick as a phone book.

My only complaint would be that I would've prefered to see some more playaction passes in there. I mean come on, we're absolutely gouging them with run after run. Isn't that the textbook scenario to run playaction and throw a deep ball? That's what I was so confused about. We finally run ridiculously well enough to set up any pass we want and just continue to pound the rock (although I can't be too upset, it was working).

A deep PA was the playcall that never came that should have worked.

it also seems like when we run the playaction, the defense is expecting it.

I don't feel like there are any surprises with our offense, we just execute some times or we dont.
