I mean the guy only averages about 18 yds everytime he touches the Football, and he has always has had a high avg. JUST THROW HIM THE DAMN BALL.

Maybe he needs to write a book; "Give me the damn ball!" Oh, sorry, Keyshawn already took that title.

Yeah, I agree. He was a star in Chicago, and we never use him here. He's got big-play after the catch potential, whereas Chambers big plays ARE the catch. None of our opponents are going to plan their defensive scheme to stop Booker, so why not make him a focal point in one game. Kind of like we did back in the day with Mark Ingram when he was complaining about not getting the ball enough, he comes in the next week, and catches 3 TDs from Marino (including the infamous fake spike play).

Problem is, Culpepper doesn't have the time to look for Booker. It all starts with the OL I'm afraid. Plus, a bit of it is that Culpepper can't read defenses so well when pressured.

Don't read too much into the average. Most of those big catches the corner back has fallen down and he took off running.

I agree they should get him the ball more, but he has trouble getting deep on guys.

He is very slow and is always run down with the exception of the bomb he caught last yr. He has pretty good hands though and seems to run good routes. I want to see what the Hagan kid can do.

I want to see more of Welker as well, Chambers most likley is getting all the attention from the Defense, throw some passes to other people, let the D know we have other playmakers wich will open things up for chambers

BS

Booker is not slow.

He has a knack for making plays. He catches the ball with more consistency than Chambers. I agree....Booker should get more looks!!

Booker had a bunch of 50 yard catches. But they were almost all on slants where the corner fell down.

He is not a vertical receiver that can beat people deep. We need to add one.

we better hope Hagan got some skills.

Let me quote this guy as well, Almost every catch he makes he can make a play, he was a probowler (or at least a probowl canadite) on the Bears, he makes catches over the middle witch can go for long yards, In order to get YACS, that means Yards after teh catch, and if you just said that the only long catch he had was the TD he had, then you kinda contradicted yourself

Because to lead the league in YACS and to only have one long play, well then that is good

although he may not run a 4.3 he is still pretty fast and very consistant

I say get Chris Chambers (ya' know, that pro bowl guy on our roster?) the damn ball!

Note to Mularky/ offensive staff/ Daunte: HE'S A PRO BOWLER! GET HIM THE BALL!!!
