We should have drafted a QB this year....

We should have drafted a young QB to back up Gus for a while and then play him at a time like this.

WE all know Gus is a one year solution and we are going to bring a QB next year.

But that means if we draft a QB we're going to have to go through another bad season next year till he gets the hang of things.

I would rather get a guy Like Joey Harrington and draft a player in the 3rd or 2nd round.

being realistic we wont be a contender till 07'-08' season

mcpherson seemed to be the most popular choice on this board. he was with me too. I don't think you'll see another guy with that much raw potential for several years

My guess for QB next year is Jake Plummer starting (I don't think the honeymoon will last in Denver -- Skeletor will cut him loose) with Brody Croyle in the 2nd/3rd/4th depending on where his stock falls.

mcpherson seemed to be the most popular choice on this board. he was with me too. I don't think you'll see another guy with that much raw potential for several years

mcpherson is about as talented as 10 or 11 QBs in the country this year. the media created a myth about him for some reason. he's got good size, good speed, and a good arm, but nothing spectacular whatsoever. and he's not that accurate, so i doubt he'll be playing much in the NFL anytime soon
