I think we should have drafted marc bulger in the 2000 draft can't believe he slipped all the way to the 6th round.

We also should have drafted Brady, Plummer, Brees...

ehh we could have, but by then there was a chance of Fiedler being the franchise QB.

Can ANYONE say that without laughing at themselves?

Who really knew of Bulger at that time? So if the Dolphins should have drafted him, a lot of other teams should have too and didn't. Its easy to second guess after the fact.

I would rather have drafted Drew Brees or Chad Johnson over Jamar Fletcher and Anquan Boldin over Eddie Moore. Or Tarik Glenn, Trevor Price, Tiki Barber, Jake Plummer, or Corey Dillon over Yatil Green. Instead of Vernon Carey, maybe Vince Wilfork, Steven Jackson, Kevin Jones, or Julius Jones. Marc Bulger was overlooked but our currently GM Randy Mueller saw something special in him and drafted him in the 6th round for New Orleans... some other names he's drafted are Deuce McCalister, Charles Grant, Darren Howard, Jake Delhomme, and LeCharles Bentley.

Plummer!? Eww. By far the most overrated quarterback in the league, it took him almost ten years to have a good season and he's stil got another nine weeks to mess it up.

He's still much better than anything we've had since Dan.

You know, they say hindsight is 20/20...but in this case, it must be 1/1...my God...MARC FRICKEN BULGER?!?! I'm sure it was Wanny's fault he missed that one, too, right?

That's like saying: "I really should have picked numbers A, B, C, D, E, F for the Powerball jackpot last week"

It's funny, I didn't have a positive impression of Bulger in college. But a couple of months ago I randomly pulled out one of my old college football VHS tapes. It was Miami/West Virginia from Morgantown in the late '90s, probably '99. Bulger was the QB and he looked terrific against UM, completing a huge percentage of his passes. I was sitting there watching the game and wondering how he slipped so far in the draft. The only play he looked bad was when Ed Reed baited him into a throw over the middle and then cut in front and picked it off.

Look at Plummer's nu,bers this season. He could be league MVP at this rate.
