:dolphins: Jamie Sharper....this guy is a very hard worker and when he was on the Texans, he led the team in tackles.....i know, its the really bad Texans but w/e....he still led in tackles.....plus hes familiar with Dom Capers.....hes also very big and could help at inside linebacker with ZT......one year deal sounds good to me.....thoughts????:dolphins:

Would love to see it happen but I really doubt we`ll offer him a contract I would love to see us sign a Running Back to help out Ronnie

Jamie Sharper shouldnt be that expensive......since hes been injured a lot... but i can see a contract being offered

He can't do the things at the position that we need players at. SLB we have three guys there now, the only way we add in another is if we draft brooks...

My girlfriend is a Texans fan, well she is actaully a dolphins fan, but in my family everybody has to pick the team that they root for and nobody can share so there was no way I was letting her take my fins cause I've been a fins fan for like 10 years. So anyways back to the point, we watched quite a bit of texans games when the fins wern't on and Sharper would be a great pickup for our LB core. I think he would really solidify an extremely talented group of players. Hopefully we offer him something to pick him up, if not Capers must know something about him that he doesn't like.

Is he having trouble seeing out of one eye? Why would we offer him a contact?

Ehhh, while I do see him as an upgrade, its not significant enough to justify bringing him in when we have Spragan, Hodge, and Newman as low salary veterans battling it out for pt already. He would also command more money then those guys imo since he does have a better track record through the years.

I really think the only way we bring someone in would be to get younger-- a guy like brooks, or a high pick next year to groom as Zach's replacement.

No way... there is NO WAY, I'm going to ask how that got started....

Has he fully recovered from the knee injury that sidelined him for much of the 2005 season?

Seattle released Sharper in March because the steph infection in his knee wasn't getting better.
