we should sign Sam Adams already

i know we are looking at harrington, and ive got my fingers crossed so hard that we get lavar arrington their turning blue. but sam adams is a big need for us. Traylor wont stay healthy a full year, and Adams is better than him anyway. the D line would be very solid with Sam, but as of right now its very shaky.

Yea, I dont know what the hell the deal is with Sam Adams. We were big on him at the beginning of free agency and now I havent heard a peep. But then again, I havent heard anything about any other teams looking at him either. Its like he disappeared.

i dont think we can afford to wait and see what lavar does and let adams get scooped up elsewhere. Adams would be a key addition to our defense. i see why we would wait on Lavar, and i want him to be a dolphin (imagine how great it would be to read arrington signs with miami), but DLine is a big need for us too. our run D wasnt that great last year. Adams would change that a lot

Thanks for the tip man. I was wondering if we were still interested. I think he would be a solid upgrade from the aging Keith Traylor, and we all know how important a good nose tackle is on our style of defense.

Alternately, however, I'm not really interested in spending the big bucks on someone who will essentially be a rotational player.

I'm beginning to lean more and more towards Miami grabbing someone in the draft like Babatunde Oshinowo or Gabe Watson then Adams at this point.

A. Did you watch last season at all...old man Traylor played incredible football.
B. Adams isn't much of an upgrade at all, and I don't know if we need 2 guys like them cuz...
C. D-line is one of the few areas we don't have concern!

we need safeties, we need a 2nd QB, we need a 3rd reciever, we need to solidify our linebacker situation.

Not sure why Sam adams is among some fans biggest worries. I would rather use Manny wright and Vickerson along with Carter. if we are to use so many 3-4 sets this year why would we need to carry 5 dt's.
