Just got off the phone with my buddy in Philly. He said he knew who he is, and that when he filled in, he did a decent job. The Eagles depth on OL is always very strong he said, so he should be pretty decent in those regards....

We'll see. Either way you can never have too much OL depth. Good signing...

I was serious. If the new guy is marginally better than McKinney then i say lets try him. McKinney is the weakest link for me on our OL and going by what ive read about McKinney during training camp then i say he will be gone sooner than later. Hadnot is our next best hope but having new blood and competition is all good in my book.

Yeah if McKinney doesnt look better in the preseason he may be gone. its sad that we used a 3rd round pick on him.

I spoke to a friend of mine who is a diehard Bama fan and he told me this guy will be good for us. He anchored an O-line wich was considered one of the best in the SEC and he is only 24 years old. While in Phily he did a good job as a back up, but do to their number of good O-lineman he was released. Saban let coach HH bring in somebody to replace Smith ( who do to his injury may miss the whole year), and from what I have been hearing this guy is a good pick up.
