T-Buck was on 790 the ticket earlier with O.J. and said he still has hope he will be signed with someone soon, hopefully the fins....I would love to have T-Buck back...hes a great team player.

We could probably get T Buck for the vet minimum...which would only count $450K against our cap.

YEA BABY !

We i think we should sign Buckley at CB. He is half decent and would be ok for a 3rd CB..

NOw were talking this is gonna be a good year

I personally think that this signing is a good one. I think Lance will be a good player for the Fins and help solidify the secondary.

:cpatch:

Very nice signing, should help to solidify the secondary.

So far, I am really enjoying the Saban era

The problem is that Bell doesnt really have any experience... he has been injured all the time. He should definatly get some playing time and experience this season and hopefully make the transition to starter next year... if not... Saban will find someone...

I think with Schulter's signing, Bell's door for a starter is closing FAST. He has limited experience, but in games he has played he has looked awesome IMO and he has great size and speed and instincts for a FS. Its a shame the dude has the injury jitters because he could have been our starting FS for the next 3-4 years. If I recall correctly, Bell is a FA at the end of this year.... I THINK. Schulters was signed for 1 year for a reason, he is a temp solution just for this year.... same concept applies to Traylor. I think Bell is turning 28 this year, based on his past injuries and the fact that we signed Schulters, this shows Saban doesnt have faith in him as a starting FS. With his age and injury concerns, if he returns here it will be as a backup and cheap, which basically means we need a new starting FS next year and we might as well be looking at drafting a new SS because Tebucky is signed until 2006. Based on his contract, it looks like he will be around in 2006 also because we have him for pretty cheap and he doesnt have a backloaded contract.

Just 2 more positions to add to our draft needs next year. We should have a solid team this year, although Saban is making good short term signings to make us competitive, we still have a LOT of holes to patch for next years team.

Yea it is looking as if Bell doesn't have it up there. He has the talent.

just looking at everybody's happy emoticons make this thread worthwhile.

love the schulters signing.

I personally agree with most of you..I like the signing it helps us this year. He could also help Bell with the postion.

Its possible he could help Saban with molding Bell, but I really believe well adress the situation in next years draft or with another younger player in next years FA.

It's too bad too. It's always nice to get a player you drafted or groomed at least into the starting lineup on a cap friendly contract.
