Everyones going off here on this or that, giving their opinion on whats wrong. We simply dont have enough talent yet. Out Last few #1's (except for J.L.) have been to this point very average. I will state the obvious. We need above average playmakers. The last couple regimes have had their own idea's on how to build a team. As a result certain players have been delt away for draft picks. This is ok if you get a quailty player with that pick. If you dont all you did was trade a good player for an average player with a lower salary cap #. Another example of a bad desicion is Ogunleye, he has been a solid player for the Bears, plus now they have the guy we traded for him (Booker) back on their team as well. Ouch! We haven't had any stability whatsoever on this team for a good 5 years. We need stability and smart desicion making along with a little luck and the talent will come. Talent will cure all ill's. It's probably going to be a year or 2.

I agree except for Ogunleye, at the time there was no way we could invest that much money in the defense when our offense was so bad. Everybody got all hyped up because of the preseason, it's going to take a while to get good.

As a Falcon fan I know how it feels. You want to see your team compete every Sunday but the reality is that it's a rebuilding year. I try to tell Falcon fans the same thing, it will get much worse before it gets better. Bill will get your team on the right track but with all good things, it takes time. The Falcons are in the exact same situation right now, it's hard and it makes you want to quit being a fan sometimes. Just think when the process is complete and the Dolphins are constantly in the playoff hunt year after year y'all can look back at these times and be proud that you watched it come in to fruition.

Good luck Dolphin fans

We barely have talent. Lol, we are so far behind the other teams in the NFL, it's a joke how we manage to keep this team in this league.

If you all watched the Monday Night game last night, that game goes to show you just how far behind we are from the best teams.

Untill we show some development and progress, every year we will be 3 drafts behind the best teams in the league.

Worse part is while we're at rock bottom, teams in our division like New England and Buffalo gets stronger, and are getting better and better every year.

Now we're trying to catch up to 3 teams, and they aren't going to hit bottom any time soon.

Not to mention Brady and Trent Edwards are in this division, I won't count Favre because I don't see him playing for more than 2 seasons. But hell, Henne will have to be one hell of a quarterback to be as good as Trent, and even better to be as close a Tom Brady.

I hope to god we start to show something soon.

When you look at all the teams that have been losers for decades...this wait for the Dolphins is nothing.

We have a few good players from this last draft...and we'll get more in the future drafts as well...the Dolphins aren't building for the present...they are building for the future...and that takes time.

Look at the Dolphins history....from the time they became a franchise to the days they played as a competitive team it took four years....but after those four years the Dolphins became a great team...and historic franchise....history wil repeat...just give it time.

I have to disagree to a point...the Pats aren't the team they were...the Jets aren't as good as the Pats...even with all the money they spent on free agents...including Favre....the one team that has done it correctly are the Bills...thats the one team that has a strong future.

Henne has the "it" factor....when you watch him as a QB...you see the same qualites that Marino had as a young QB...Same height...same quick release...same strong arm...and he makes good decisions...at least so far. You give Henne a couple receivers that can play...it will be interesting.

We simply don't have enough talent yet.

That is the UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE SEASON.

There's a whole bunch of B*llsh*t on these boards about our coaching staff not being good enough when THIS coaching staff inherited a 1-15 win franchise.

ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY!!!!!!!!

Every single franchise that Bill PArcells took over became a POWERHOUSE!!!

These ignorant Dolphin F*CKS (fans) are ruining this forum!

Every time a talented player is found , he is traded for picks.

Yea, lets become another St. Louis.

Lack of talent . . fine . . . but what does that have to do with the mistakes being made on the field. Too much miscommunication, bad coaching . . . I think that is what is frustrating people the most.

Mistakes are being made because of the lack of talent. yes coaching owns apart of it, bu certainly so does talent. As much as we like to pile on the coaches, we have to remember the players have been playing this game most of their lives. They KNOW what they can and cannot do.

All coaches can do is tell them AGAIN.. "don't do this, don't do that".

Like Jake Longs tripping penalty against the Jets.. we was just plain beaten and stuck out his leg.

There is only so much bitching a coach can do.. but once they're on the field, the players have to execute.
