Now before everyone starts going Jim Mora on me, I didn't say we are a playoff team or would do anything if we got there. However, we do have a shot at the last WC spot. Right now you have NE, CN, SD, and Indy winning their divisions. One of the WC spots is probably going to Denver leaving 1 WC spot up for grabs.
In the running are Balt, Pitt, and Jack at 6-5. Then us, Tenn, and Houston at 5-6 (Jets too, but we own the tie breaker on them). We play Jack, Tenn, Hou, and Pitt if we win those giving us the tie breaker if we are both 9-6. Pitt and Balt play each other, so there is atleast one loss for one of those two. Jacksonville has the hardest road with games at Hou (atleast one loss with one of those teams), us, Indy, and NE. Baltimore probably has the best shot, we really need them to lose to GB next week! Pitt has a similar schedule, with GB, Balt and us left as tough teams. Tenn is playing well, but has the Colts, Chargers, and us still left. Houston has Jacksonville, us and the Pats.
Needless to say, all of the 6-5 5-6 teams have major obstacles. We are actualy in a pretty good position IF (big if) we win out, possibly making that last game against the Steelers very meaningful.
So yes, we still have a chance...actually just as good as any of the other teams mentioned. We were in this boat last year and everything seemed done, but we pulled it out. Let's see what happens.
