We TOTALLY screwed ourselves not taking Nugent!

I'm really pissed off at our second round selection.

Saban says he wants to build the franchise for long term success? Nobody on the board at the 46th pick met that goal like Nugent would have. Instead we throw it away on yet another defensive end... I understand that Roth is a good player but christ, we have enough defensive ends. Mare is declining... he'll be decent for another year or two, certainly not a gamebreaker. And then what? With Nugent we would have been solid for years to come in that department, he was a SPECIAL talent that doesn't come along often.

As if that wasn't bad enough that we didn't take him, now the ****ING JETS get him?! We had to see that **** coming, what with Doug Brian and them sitting RIGHT behind us in the draft. We could of delivered a swift kick in the nuts to the Jets, instead we give them a player who WILL ENABLE THE JETS TO BEAT US IN THE FUTURE. Make no mistake, there will be games down the road that come down to the wire and Nugent will give the Jets important divisional wins over this.

I REALLY hate this and I am BEYOND pissed off at our 2nd round decisions :yell: :fire: :yell: :fire:

please let this be sarcasm, because a kicker in the 2nd round is a horrible choice. And seeing that piece on how jets draft it makes it all the funnier.

Could have had sapp and marino and didnt, and now a kicker. A kicker doesnt ever get drafted in the 2nd and usually never is. Horrible choice by the jets again. Dolphins draft was praised because we got a late 1st rounder in the 2nd. Finally a change of pace from taking people too high.

Oh and being from fresno, the pats choice in the first round wasnt that great of a pickup. On ESPN it has him projected as late 2nd 3rd rounder. And personally Berrian last year was chosen 3rd round at WR was 10 times better.

Dolphins so far have had best draft through two rounds in AFC East.

We are fine with Olindo. Geez, even Janikowski didn't make that big of a difference to Oakland, I doubt that a kicker is going to give the Jets the edge. They needed a CB so bad. They are stupid for not taking Miller.The Jets fan over on Ganggreen are sick about the pick.
