We will always leave points on the field with Tannehill....

No you are a tannehill hater before you are a dolphin "fan." Your post history verifies that. If you at least would admit that, it would be one thing. However you continue to hide from the Truth in an attempt to gain credibility and it's just sad.

Ok I'm glad it's clear as day to others too because the only thing Elle posts about is Tannehill sucking.

Heh. Twisted logic being applied in this thread. But even if we were using that as a measure of ability, when is Tannehill going to lead his team to 13 and 14 win seasons because Rivers has done that and has a substantially higher career winning pct. Aside from team success, individual statistical success, eyeball tests, I don't understand how this even comes into the conversation. Poor seasons and poor games can be aberrational as long as there are prior examples of success. Tannehill's never shown the level of ability and success Rivers did very early in his career.

Read through the posts....that was all sarcasm there...

Tannehill was a step in the right direction over Henne for sure but it's another example of a desperate franchise trying to appesse the fan base and owner to ger someone in here and try again. I'm sick of this ****. At this point I would trade 2 number one draft picks for the next best qb prospect who is projected to have NFL success. I am tired of retreads and reaches at qb. While the qb position is a crap.shoot, the overwhelmng evidence is there that suggests a qb drafted in top 10 ( Tannehill at 7 was a reach big time and we all know that) is where it is at.

Tannehill was a step in the right direction after Henne but I'm not even sure he is a step above Moore, and what's sad is a QB who is statistically better than him was also overlooked because of the need to give the fanbase a first round QB.

I know you were being sarcastic. But that post was for the people here who seem to be sincerely engaged in comparing the two... when there's absolutely no comparison.

Again, you have yet to refute the inital argument that Tannehill leaves too many points on the field and is one of the players holding our team back. You rather attack the poster than the argument so again you are reminding me of the female version of a man.

i already posted a few pages back, agreed with you on some things but threw in some other factors as well. I said i agree with you tannehill has squandered opportunities when theyre there. But at the same time when Tannehill has thrown some nice balls like the one to sims last week or the one clay dropped last week or the one miller dropped today and so on....theres other guys on this team that dont take the opportunties when given to them and leave points on the field as well. Last week if wallace gets his second foot down and sims catches the perfectly thrown ball tannehill ends that game with liek 250 4 tds. When you look at the big picture its not solely on tannehill. I never even said he has played good either so its not like im blindly defending the guy. I just dont overlook the dropped balls in order to blame one guy for the offenses problems. And elle, whether you like it or not Tannehill is our qb this year...you can root for him to fail so we move on from him but im still gonna root for him to succeed.

You supported Henne until the bitter end too. I dont expect anything different from you here.

I want him too succeed as much as any finfan, but I just don't see it happening.

And you're going to support Melty to the end even though it's obvious to the rest of the world that he will never win a Super Bowl.

Maybe. Maybe not.

I know Matt Ryan has a better chance of winning a SB than Ryan Tannehill does of ever even making the playoffs as a starting QB.

Hell, Tannehill will likely not be a starter in this league much longer. Unless he pulls a Henne and winds up starting for some miserable team like Jacksonville. I doubt even a team like that will want Tannehill to start after this season.

"If this guy would have done this, if that guy would have done that" ..... always that same story to explain his play isn't it? What some people don't seem to grasp is that Ryan Tannehill is supposed to be the bellwether for this offense and setting the tone. His inconsistencies and erratic play permeate through the rest of the offense.

Last week we saw what a player who sets the tone can do for his teammates in Moreno. He got hurt and then life was over for that offense today.

Funny isn't it? You could literally just change the names in the posts or threads and it's like reading the same thing. A lot of Dolphins fans are starving so hard for a quality QB that they'll hitch themselves to anything we get our hands on at the first semblance of decent play.

I saw him improve aspects of his game from his rookie year to year 2, hes in a new system with an all new line. I never expected him to throw for 350-400 yds right off the bat but i did expect a little more from him. If he fails this year then hes gone and we move on. Im just not ready to give up on him yet.
