We will always leave points on the field with Tannehill....

I'm very disappointed. He is making better reads, better decisions than ever. He is not throwing the head-scratching interceptions, even when things are going poorly. That is encouraging.

But.

But.

But! He is not throwing the football accurately. He is making the right reads, seeing guys open, and MISSING them. IMO this has not been the case with him the past two years, and in fact I really did not consider his accuracy to be an issue. Right now? It is a HUGE problem.

We have had drops, we have had pass protection problems, we have had no running game today. But through two weeks, two things have been consistent: drops and inaccurate throws. Drops happen, they are part of footballl. However, the QB needs to be accurate. Period.

Not good enough.

I brought this up before the season but maybe only certain QBs can throw to a spot effectively, rather than to the receiver, which I believe is something we're trying to develop with him (at least I don't think its something he did before Lazor).

This is how it is around Finheaven... there are way to many homers and not actual football fans. If you actually watch the games, you would see that Tannehill is an average QB in this league. If all conditions aren't perfect for him to succeed, he fails. I was over him last year and this year is going to show alot of Dolfans that we need a QB to win anything in this league. This game is not a huge factor in my decision, but the years past has shown me that we have just another QB.

Too many homers and not actual "football fans" but the only position you mentioned in your post was the quarterback as if every other position was useless. If QB were the only position that mattered, then the Patriots would have demolished us last week and the Saints would be 2-0 right now not 0-2. Nobody can dispute Tannehill is playing like an average QB. But thats not the ONLY problem. Everybody just watches the QB. If the QB was the only problem with this team then I'd agree, but it isn't. We got manhandled today from QB, RB, Oline, Dline, Lienbackers, Secondry, Special Teams. How much pressure did we apply on EJ Manuel? How did we do covering Watkins? How'd our special teams do with 2 ST turnovers and a KR for a TD? How many drops did we have today? Look around the league. Falcons 10, Detroit 7, and Saints just lost to Browns all with upper tier QB. Quarterback isn't the only problem with this team and it isn't the only position in football.

The only time Elle posts on this site is in Tannehill sucks threads or threads about the deep balls to wallace...where he bashes Tannehill. The guy really doesn't have a clue about what he's talking about most of the time.

Dalton at least gives his receivers a chance with throws that lead them.

Yes. He benefits from having an alpha stud like AJ Green, but his warts usually don't show up until the playoffs. Quite frankly, Tannehill was making some AWFUL throws today. For instance, that almost pick that was thrown to Rishard Matthews? GOOD DECISION. Matthews was open. AWFUL THROW.

At least Dalton can get a team to the playoffs consistently. Tannehill is not taking Miami anywhere if he doesn't start putting the ball in his receivers hands with better throws.

Down vote simply because this douche only shows up to **** on tanne.

Enjoy your overreaction over one week of nfl football. I'll be back next week to root for the fins, rather than **** on them and call the nfl season over for the week.

Ideally you'd want neither as your QB.

He also has a wide receiver to bail him out that he can just throw one up to. But that was a nice grab by wallace today.

How many passes are these guys gonna drop...beautifully thrown deep pass to Hartline and right thru his hands

It's always someone else's fault, maybe these guys would be more ready to play if their QB hadn't missed as many plays in the first half as his receivers were going to drop in the second.

Fewer than number of passes behind receivers on the move. And Hartline had to slow down for that too. Not that I'm excusing the drop, he still should absolutely catch it, terrible drop. But even that throw which was better than his others was a little behind.

Yea, good decisions are all for naught if you can't make the throw. I always laugh when I hear that he can make all the throws...He really can't lol.

Ryan Tannehill has some major issues right now, dude. I'm sorry. I said before the season he would have 16 games to prove it or lose it, and right now he is losing it.
