We will always leave points on the field with Tannehill....

This is the worst case scenario for this year. I've supported Tannehill, but after this game, I'm checking out. We've surrounded our QB with more talent than we have since early Marino. We have a new modern offense designed to help him. But it seems being out of Sherman's ****fest offense has only heightened his accuracy issues. He's forced to make quicker reads, but he seems to freeze up doing it. Tannehill was ****ing awful today. He's not going to be elite. He's not even Andy ****ing Dalton. Not sure where we go from here, but it's a big challenge and very disappointing.

The good news is I have faith in Hickey. I'd like him to have the opportunity to pick our next QB for our next HC.

I like what Hickey has done for the most part but hated the way the backup QB position was handled. We needed to bring somebody in to push Tannehill a little bit, and I doubt Hickey will ever get the chance to select his own QB at this point. There were 2 or 3 good options available even in the 5th in place of Lynch.

I still think we win 9 or 10 games though. Tannehill will still have his share of good games, he's 0 for 2 so far but he will have like 7 or 8 good games at least. We still have a talented team. And I still think Lazor is a big improvement.

Down vote simply because this douche only shows up to **** on tanne.

Enjoy your overreaction over one week of nfl football. I'll be back next week to root for the fins, rather than **** on them and call the nfl season over for the week.

Tannehill had the same problem last week. His passes are always behind the receivers, on basic throws. That's my main concern. Not a single bad week but a recurring theme with his passes that is QB 101.

Also, rooting for the phins is not mutually exclusive with arguing certain players are good or bad.

I'm very disappointed. He is making better reads, better decisions than ever. He is not throwing the head-scratching interceptions, even when things are going poorly. That is encouraging.

But.

But.

But! He is not throwing the football accurately. He is making the right reads, seeing guys open, and MISSING them. IMO this has not been the case with him the past two years, and in fact I really did not consider his accuracy to be an issue. Right now? It is a HUGE problem.

We have had drops, we have had pass protection problems, we have had no running game today. But through two weeks, two things have been consistent: drops and inaccurate throws. Drops happen, they are part of footballl. However, the QB needs to be accurate. Period.

Not good enough.

It should bother us that a QB who is known as an inaccurate QB came out today and for four quarters of football got passes to his receivers with a chance to make a big play nearly every drive.

Lazor's offense is predicated on being able to hit receivers with a chance to cut upfield. Tannehill is simply awful at this as his passes are either throw behind, not thrown far enough ahead, or thrown too hard for the receiver to have a chance. Have we had any significant YAC receptions through two games?

Ryan Tannehill has some major issues right now, dude. I'm sorry. I said before the season he would have 16 games to prove it or lose it, and right now he is losing it.

I was talking about the Andy Dalton comparison. It's nice to have a receiver to bail ya out once in awhile. Matt Stafford isn't accurate but he throws for 5000yds

Yes. He benefits from having an alpha stud like AJ Green, but his warts usually don't show up until the playoffs. Quite frankly, Tannehill was making some AWFUL throws today. For instance, that almost pick that was thrown to Rishard Matthews? GOOD DECISION. Matthews was open. AWFUL THROW.

At least Dalton can get a team to the playoffs consistently. Tannehill is not taking Miami anywhere if he doesn't start putting the ball in his receivers hands with better throws.

Dalton is a playmaker. He is inconsistent but he has made more downfield throws in single games than Tannehill has in a career.

Lol Jesus Christ you guys are ridiculous...are u kidding me with that post? It was underthrown??? Hahaha wow dude, just wow.

Did he not have to slow down? Did I see it wrong? If I did, I will gladly take it back.

At this point you either believe the QB is garbage or you are waiting to see if he adapts to the new offense and improves his ball placement the way Carson Palmer did last year, when he was much better in the second half of the season.

I don't blame people for giving up on the guy, but at the same time I haven't reached that point yet. There are positives and the team loss today wasn't 100% on him. I realize that's an unpopular sentiment, but that's my honest opinion. You need better play from the QB, but you also need better play from the special teams and your starting tailback.

It's always someone else's fault, maybe these guys would be more ready to play if their QB hadn't missed as many plays in the first half as his receivers were going to drop in the second.

Youre doing the same thing as he is. Then a 3rd guy is going to come in and say "Well if the Oline blocked better for Tannehill in the 1st half like they did in the 2nd we would have played better in the 1st half" The whole team wet the bed today. Buffalo beat Miami. Case Closed. Its not Tannehill's fault, not the WRs, or any single person or position. Its the whole teams fault.

The ball placement today was piss poor today, maybe as poor as I've seen it for RT17.

He literally put us behind the ball from the jump . . . he was bad today.

Watching Dolphins 5th quarter and the media is hammering on Tannehill's play while Philbin deflects. He's gonna be the death of you Joe.

its year 3 and ryan tannehill is trending in the wrong direction.

Tannehill is the worst kind of qb from.a fan perspective. He will give ypu just enough to think the light has turned on upstairs and get 1-2big wins then he will **** the bed and take the team with him. I am officially now off the badwagon. You can't teach accuracy and it won't ever come with Mike Wallace.
We need to play this year out and hope to trade down to grab a top qb in the draft. Iam not a college qb guru so I am not sure what, if any, is out there but Tannehill is not the future of the Dolphins.

Not gonna lie, RT has looked worse under Lazor than under Sherman. His accuracy has been awful so far this season. He was much more accurate the last 2 years.

His YPA was hovering around 4.0 before some garbage time yards at the end to get him at 4.9 for the game. That is just horrendous, especially for a QB who completed 60%+ of his passes for the game.

That out throw was literally the only throw he has and its the only throw he throws half way accurately and at the end, that last INT it just became obvious what RT was going to do because its the only throw he has. Dude is starting to scare me with how limited he is.

For a guy who can "make all the throws" it seems like he can only make "one kind of throw".

Didn't take long for y'all to show up

What do you mean,,, the guy under throws, throws behind, over throws his receivers all the time. I was a Tannehill supporter for his first two years and said this will be the year he has to become an NFL quarterback but unfortunately he just does not have what it takes to be a starting QB in the league. Face the facts and what you see with your own eyes man.

When you have a 4th and 3 and are down by 2 scores (your own doing) and the coach calls a read option, I want to see you make a play there. I don't care what the excuses are, JUST MAKE A ****ING PLAY!!!!
