We will always leave points on the field with Tannehill....

His YPA was hovering around 4.0 before some garbage time yards at the end to get him at 4.9 for the game. That is just horrendous, especially for a QB who completed 60%+ of his passes for the game.

Bill Lazor needs to ditch the WR screens. They do NOTHING for the offense.

Not gonna lie, RT has looked worse under Lazor than under Sherman. His accuracy has been awful so far this season. He was much more accurate the last 2 years.

New offense with different timing and his footwork has been tweaked. We'll see what happens. I don't think he is going to be benched, so we just have to hope that these are growing pains from the coaching change.

If not, we're drafting a QB.

Youre doing the same thing as he is. Then a 3rd guy is going to come in and say "Well if the Oline blocked better for Tannehill in the 1st half like they did in the 2nd we would have played better in the 1st half" The whole team wet the bed today. Buffalo beat Miami. Case Closed. Its not Tannehill's fault, not the WRs, or any single person or position. Its the whole teams fault.

Sorry dude, but I saw Matt Moore go 6-3 down the stretch for a team that had lost 10 straight games before that and had not won consecutive games since the first two weeks of the previous season. Yes it took Matt Moore a good 4 weeks to really take hold, but once he did and the QB was actually making all the plays he was supposed to and then some, the rest of the team elevated its play with him.

A team's personality is defined by its starting QB and head coach.

That out throw was literally the only throw he has and its the only throw he throws half way accurately and at the end, that last INT it just became obvious what RT was going to do because its the only throw he has. Dude is starting to scare me with how limited he is.

For a guy who can "make all the throws" it seems like he can only make "one kind of throw".

Just the new and improved Chad Henne.

I like what Hickey has done for the most part but hated the way the backup QB position was handled. We needed to bring somebody in to push Tannehill a little bit, and I doubt Hickey will ever get the chance to select his own QB at this point. There were 2 or 3 good options available even in the 5th in place of Lynch.

I still think we win 9 or 10 games though. Tannehill will still have his share of good games, he's 0 for 2 so far but he will have like 7 or 8 good games at least. We still have a talented team. And I still think Lazor is a big improvement.
I agree he should have and there was opportunity at that wasted Lynch pick. It's possible Hickey faced a lot of resistance towards the prospect of drafting a young QB. It might have even been an imperative handed down from some segment of the organization not to make a move which may show a lack of faith in Tannehill. This was a crucial year for Tannehill. With the new OC, this was his make or break, Philbin or even Ross could very conceivably have not wanted him to face the distraction of a young QB. Now I totally disagree with that, but I could see that having been an issue for Hickey.

Most will never admit to that and will marginalize his play because it cost them their suck for Luck campaign.

That's because this offense needs to just one, the ability to throw the ball accurately without even having to make difficult throws to have success. Tannehill's inaccuracy makes the throws look hard. Mike Vick also disappointed in this offense despite his athleticism because he made bad decisions on when to run the ball and wasn't as good getting the ball to his receivers as Foles. Foles really isn't all that good but he doesn't mess up the plays that are there.

Did he not have to slow down? Did I see it wrong? If I did, I will gladly take it back.

Did the ball not go through his hands? Easily catchable but maybe Tannehill should have thrown it 3 inches higher and 12 centimeters further...ok I got it.

tannehill is pretty bad, this was a defining game and he played like ****, just like i expected

Undecided on RT. Moore is not the answer though. Ryans inability to throw deep is more than concerning, it's a wasted down every time.

I used to like his, "I'm going to keep getting better" attitude. Dude, it's year 3, you've been saying that forever, every offseason, preseason, and regular game. STOP SAYING IT AND DO IT.

It's time to start thinking about drafting a QB again. Of course the Dolphins will win just enough games to keep them out of a spot to draft a top prospect.

We coulda had him at 19 this past draft. Bridgewater was right there.

When all is said and done I think a lot of team's are going to regret missing on Bridgewater, especially the ones who were so torn Manziel that they convinced themselves not to draft Bridgewater for some reason, even though he had been projected number 1 overall for some time and didn't do anything on the field to detract from that during the season.

Dude u only post about Tannehill sucking so stop preaching like your some football guru and everyone who defends him is a homer. This whole team played bad but you will sit here and beat the Tannehill sucks angle to death. No mentions of all the dropped passes or how special teams was complete ****.

This thread was about Tannehill...special teams were the worst unit today and imo, cost us the game. That still doesn't take away from the fact that we need a new QB. Your move?!

Clearly you don't got it because I said it was absolutely a failed catch attempt that should be caught.

At this point you either believe the QB is garbage or you are waiting to see if he adapts to the new offense and improves his ball placement the way Carson Palmer did last year, when he was much better in the second half of the season.

I don't blame people for giving up on the guy, but at the same time I haven't reached that point yet. There are positives and the team loss today wasn't 100% on him. I realize that's an unpopular sentiment, but that's my honest opinion. You need better play from the QB, but you also need better play from the special teams and your starting tailback.

I'm not ready to say bench him, but it's not looking good. He needs to fix this problem with leading his receivers. Now.

Whether I was underthrown or not is irrelevant because the ball went ight thru his hands...easily catchable.

I dont know what you guys are watching. I see a young Tom Brady with legs!!!! :sidelol:

Tannehill should play out the season regardless. At no point should he be benched. Let him sink or swim for the duration of the season so we know for sure what we have
