Hey buddy in case you missed it the bills didnt make the playoffs and got rid of their best rb

Even the biggest homers on this site would agree that McGahee is a much better running back than T-Hank. Every team is a playoff team in July according to there fans.

And their QB....

Lets just say if we did, I wouldn't be surprised. There is enough talent on this team to make the playoffs and now that we actually have a coach who can coach, why not the fins. So, I say yes we make the playoffs.

The D has taken some hits.
We lost Surtain, Poole, Knight, Timbo, Greenwood (not that big a deal) and maybe Chester. Hopefully the youngsters and the Free Agents will all step up, but until they do Im not sure you can definatively say that we have a "great" defense.
Perhaps "we COULD have a great D" or "we SHOULD have a great D" would be more accurate.

It's hard for ppl to grasp what we've lost, those guys represent continuity and the new guys have to gel and become comfortable with each other..so we don't know what kind of D we have right now. We just know there's some names, some who should be pretty good, but also some question marks in terms of "what have they really done in the NFL". i.e., our safeties, and of course who's the other starting cb. Our DL is in transition too. So what do we have returning..SM, JT, ZT, Jr. S. DB, 6 out of 11, plus it's a new D. The 7th is Chester when and if he returns to health.

We're in the AFC East, ladies and gentlemen! One of the best divisions in football, 11 wins may not even guarantee a wildcard spot.

I dont think it is that strong a division. The Patriots are the only team that seem to be guaranteed a return to the playoffs. The Jets are going into their season with some problems on defense (Abraham holding out, Abraham retiring) and a QB who at best is going to be 80% thuis season recovering from a shldr surgery that takes at least a full year to get back from. Curtis Martin is one year older. They seem to be a team to me that is going to play somewhere around .500 ball, although if things work out for them they could do better. The Bills gave up on the year by going with Losman. They will be last year's Ravens at best and more than likely a sub .500 team. The wild card in this deck is our Dolphins. We lost talent on defense but are probably going to play a much better defensive scheme. Will it be enough? Only time will tell. On offense the OLINE has the best OL coach in the league and a year under its belt. If it plays well we will have an awesome running game and with Linehan installing a modern offensive game plan and Feeley improving his game this could be the biggest area that improves. I believe that the Dolphins record is going to come down to how our offensive and defensive lines perform. If they perform well we will challenge for 2nd place. If not Dbrickshaw Ferguson start scouting that miami house market
