I don't think Ginn will complain. He seems pretty classy to me. But I don't think the Dolphins need someone with a stronger arm really, he's very accurate and he can hit most routes. Just watch, I'm sure you'll see some Pennington/Ginn hookups soon enough.

EDIT: Also, Fiedler showed us what Chambers was capable of during his time here and Penington's arm is probably better than his.

The one thing you can be assured of is Ginn not complaining. His father taught him to be a team player first and foremost.

BTW, we will never see what Ginn is capable of until Pennington gets a better feel for Ted's speed. Not for the deep routes as many are calling for but also for the more intermediate routes as well. Until they get on the same page, Ginn will continue to be inconsistent.

we won't know what ginn has until we release him. I hope this is not true but I have a feeling some other team is going to have fun with him. I like ginn. I think its cause he is fast. and I have his jersey too. I like ginn

False. Will he get better with Henne. Maybe. But it isnt Pennington's fault Ginn isnt producing. It's ginns fault. When he becomes a better route runner( which i think he will), then we will see the real Ginn Jr.

Bingo!!! Why can Ginn only be effective catching 40 yard bombs??? He needs to be working overtime after practice and learn how to become a COMPLETE receiver rather than just a carpet burner.

According to Pennington, that's exactly what Ginn has been doing.

You may be right that we won't get to see what Ginn "is" capable of on until we get a strong arm QB to throw to him, but we are learning a lot about Ginn with Pennington being the QB. Pennington is a terrific field general and extremely accurate on his short throws.

So far it looks like Ginn is not capable of being an effective slot receiver like many people predicted he would be.

We are seeing that Ginn is not capable of being a go-to-guy on third down because he is reluctant to take a hit in an attempt to fight for an extra yard in critical situations (see SD).

We are seeing that Ginn is not capable of getting much seperation when he is matched with a good CB playing man-to-man (see NYJ).

We are seeing that Ginn is not capable of being a reliable red-zone WR as he can be manhandled on a jump ball (see NYJ).

So although we may not see what Ginn "is" capable of with Pennington in there we are seeing what Ginn is "not" capable of with Pennington in there.

So I guess Ginn getting seperation against San Diego's Cromartie and Cason doesn't count?
A receiver can be a reliable red zone target without having to out jump a defender for the ball. Marino rarely threw jump balls but instead used the fade-stop as his bread-n-butter red zone pass. Manning to Harrison has accounted for over 100 touchdowns without resorting to jump balls.

ginn has to know how to run the underneath routes and get into open space so penny could get him the ball a la chambers, give ginn the ball in open space and let him work from there.

We should be happy about having pennington. This forces Ginn to learn his routes better and be a complete receiver. and when henne comes in, hopefully, he'll have that threat at receiver.

sigh here we go again.. We will never see what Ginn is capable of until HE HIMSELF can prove what he can do. Get open at the line, help his QB out, go over the middle, dont run out of bounds, dont let the ball roll on returns. Apparently something that Ginn is doing is not working because the trifecta has taken him off of ST duties for the most part. But anyways, thats what makes the great WRs GREAT. They can get separation underneath and turn it into big gains. Its not all about long bombs down the field, nice every now and then. But if you're going with that approach you need to blame Ginn also for not helping his QB out. Hes got all the tools, he just needs some toughness because the kid is scared to get hit coming across the middle. Underneath routes can be as dangerous as a deep bomb. Whether the reciever catches it 40yds down the field or 10yds down the field if they can score they are equally as good. The kid has got game, he just needs to learn how to use it.

That's a widely held misconception because the vast majority of deep balls are only in the air 20-40yds. Its the WR's beating coverages that result in the long passes. CP has never had problems making those throws. Question is, can Ginn beat coverage downfield.
QB's that have "weak arms" have trouble throwing the deep outs
