And all the realists come out and tell me it wont happen... Do you think Im stupid? I know just as much football as you do maybe even more. You're missing the point. I dont watch the Fins because I want to be able to tell everyone I told you so, I dont think I'd do a better job than any of the Fins FO, I dont live a miserable life because I HATE the coaching staff, this player or that player, why why why!!!!! I realized a long time ago I have no input on any of this so throwing tantrums and telling the world we suck and wont win a game this season, makes your life miserable... I do get pissy till the middle of the week but thats it... Then on to the next game and lets hope we'll win.

This is why I watch the game, making the playoffs might be highly improbable... But who knows really? Stranger **** have happened. Isnt it why we all watch the game? Because maybe, just maybe the next few weeks is where this team clicks. Dont know about yall, Ive been a hater, and its not for me...

So, we get bashed all summer and get told how "we don't know anything about football" and that we are just a bunch of "haters" and "Debbie downers" and "this is only preseason"...but when proven right, we are not supposed to shovel as much as we got? Wrong! The ship has ****ing sunk. There is coral already growing on it!!!
 
I get lots of enjoyment out of complaining and saying how horrible this team is. Why should I have to sacrifice my enjoyment for yours?

i like your optimisim man. we all follow the fins so closely to hope for the best and watch them succeed, not to hope that they fail and do miserably.

Now the people who dont agree with your optimisim now, i cant blame them due to the fact of how poor we have looked so far, and in past years.

0-2 deff is not the end of the world, and as you have pointed out stranger things have happened such as the giants in 07 looked awful against the cowboys and packers to start the year, allowed 80 plus points, started 0-2 like us, and as we all know they hoisted the lombardi trophy at years end.

now im not saying thats going to happen, as a matter of fact it prob wont, but heck, why not try to be somewhat optimistic?

we deff do have problems on this team, but at 0-2, the season is not over. Now if we were like 0-6 and you can on here saying how we are going to the superbowl, etc, we will win out, then you would sound like an idiot. but at 0-2, i like that you want to be optimistic. although the goal is very unlikely, why not dream, isnt that why we are fans?

It would make a hell of an episode of America's Game!

I usually get over a loss by the middle of the week too but my hopes for this team weren't that strong to begin with so it doesn't take much anymore to get them completely crushed.

I'll try and enjoy the game Sunday and I'll probably be excited if Marshall makes a big catch, Thomas breaks a big run, or Vontae gets a pick 6 even though there will be a big elephant standing next to the TV.

Exactly my thoughts, lets go one game at a time and see what happens, if we lose to the Browns though, I might sing a different tune...
