Our safeties got completely embarrassed on monday... A lot of people are trying to blame Ginn or other parts of the offense, but the overall game the offense played very well... Ginn makes that catch probably 9 out of 10 times.. he has proven already that he can make tough catches in the endzone, blaming him for one dropped pass is not the reason we lost the game...

Our safeties bouncing off of Dallas clark all night long is why we lost... Y.bell is overrated and overcommits, he missed so many tackles on monday that he should never be called even an above average safety again until he redeems himself.

G.wilson can't tackle or catch picks to save his life ( I guess he's ok in coverage?)

The saddest part is I'm 100% positive j.allen makes both the critical tackles that bell missed, but I guess he just doesn't understand the defense or something yet? He has more talent than any of our safeties and is a much better tackler.. I think it's time he gets more playing time? Maybe he fails in practice or something and thats why he doesn't play much in real games....

the reason they only had 15 minutes of possession was because they scored so ridiculously fast each time they had the ball (That's exactly what the "SAFETY" is supposed to prevent... quick scores...)

27 points is right near their average over the last few years I'm pretty sure? ToP means nothing when they still put up 27.

Yeah I made a post that we needed a young fast ball hawking safety. Both of our safeties are more run stoppers than pass defenders. Would be nuts if we could get Eric Berry in the draft

I would say safety , another linebacker and two more de's and then our defense should be improved.

I can't see why when our strong point last year was Y. Bell... I guess it is the scheming this year...

Yes I agree with the Jason Allen comment. I have always liked what he has done when put in the game. He is a solid tackler and has good awareness. He can get the INT's.

I think Renaldo Hill back there making adjustments may have been more of a difference than I thought.

To draft Berry get ready to have a terrible season
he should go top 5 so last place should get us in position to draft him(he is incredible) but NOT knowing if we have our future franchise QB on the team right now is more of a concern for me...seems like mgmt doesn't believe in Henne

I agree but I'm still holding out hope they gel because the talent is there. I also think LB has been a let down. The Roth injury has hurt more then I originally thought. It is putting JT in a role he just isn't suited for and it's having a ripple effect across the whole LB line.

I agree our safties are what lost us the game. I like the idea of putting some of our CB's at the safety position and see how they take to it. How about rotating Vontae in and out of the safety position when he's not playing CB? Having him in the game with the starters could give us a real spark in pass defense. I like the idea of putting J. Allen back there too. Coaching staff really needs to try some new combinations and see which one works best during the game.

I don't like the idea of putting our rookie CB at the safety spot. Let's not repeat the mistake we made doing that with Jason Allen.

everyone else had decent coverage skills which masked his. yeremiah is a great tackler but his coverage skills are lacking. Throw Gibril's inept *** in there who can't cover or tackle and you got a huge hole in the secondary. Basically, Gibril makes Yeremiah look bad.

Put Clemons in!

Wilson is a natural SS. My guess is the Trifecta got him partly to be a starter and partly to come in and replace Yeremiah if he gets injured as he has in the past.

Theses guys are both really strong safeties so coverage isn't there strength but I expect both of them to bounce back
