Has anyone seen the weather report for Denver this weekend? If so how will this effect the Fins? Do you think with an Bill Parcells team we have now... can we play in the cold weather games better?

Its going to be in the 60s this weekend in denver. Not cold at all..

Hey, because of the thin air, Pennington's deep ball will be deeper. Expect Ginn to have a great day.

i just hope it will be chilly enough for the broncos cheerleaders to make their nips pop through their outfits

Lack of oxygen is the issue there. I lived there for two years for grad school and man it took some time to adjust. Man can yo crush a golf ball there. I usually hit my PW 125 yards but there it was 140 plus..., When is the team flying out there or did they already. The sooner the better so they can get aclimated.

They're flying out Friday I think. They usually fly out Saturday. Matt Roth says that when he goes skiing up there he always makes sure to fly in a day early, get acclimated to the atmosphere.

Yeah, we now have big beefy Parcells guys in the trenches with thicker heavier skins which seem to be cold weather retardant and we are no longer affected by the cold weather.

Whereas as before we had skinny scrawny guys like Jason Taylor who had thinner skin and would usually freeze their butts off in cold weather, but had a superb advanatage in hot weather with their weightless skins.

:d-day:

Sounds like the weather will be nice for us:)

As for the cold weather, we have some cold weather folks on our roster now:)

Penny - NY
Porter - Pitt (Colorado St. Alum)
Martin - Green bay
Ginn - Ohio
London - Mass / NY
Fasano - ND
Ndukwe - Northwestern
Long - Meeesheeegan
Merling - Clemson
Roth - Iowa
Ferguson - Ny / Dallas
Starks - Tennessee
Torbor - NY
Will Allen - NY
Carpenter - Montana
Fields - Mich State.

I like having a proven cold weather QB at the helm going into December.

Also nice to have a Place kicker that is used to the cold.

I dont think the cold weather late in the year will be as big a factor for us as it has in the past.

Carpenter will be a good asset when we go up to NY towards the end of the season.

Weather doesn't start getting bad in Denver until later in November.

You guys are silly, it takes much more than a day to acclimate. I live in a ski town in colorado (7000 feet). That being said, i don't think it will affect them much. You just have to take more breaths- which may get to our O-line if they are out there too many snaps.

Well it isn't like the Phins have all week to sit around and breathe in the air to get used to it ;)
