Website breaks book: Canseco led A-Rod to steroids connection

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica]Retired slugger Jose Canseco says in his new book that he introduced Alex Rodriguez to a steroids distributor and that Rodriguez pursued Canseco's wife, according to the website of freelance writer Joe Lavin.

[/FONT][FONT=Arial, Helvetica] Lavin says on the website that he obtained the book, Vindicated: Big Names, Big Liars, and The Battle to Save Baseball, on Monday from a bookstore in Cambridge, Mass. The book is due to be released April 1.[/FONT]

Canseco will keep writing this garbage until he's implicated everyone and their mothers into this thing. It's a book that unfortunately will sell, will be spoken about in the media, and will earn Canseco some cash.

Canseco actually had some credibility when most of his first book turned out to be true. Though I question it now because of the alleged Ordonez incident. Also with pictures shown with Clemens allegedly at the party that Canseco denied.

i see where you are coming from, but Canseco's first book has been pretty much borne out as being true.

if anyone is responsible for the push to purge baseball of Roids, Jose is your guy, because of his first book. which was entertaining as heck.

doesn't make him any less of a tool, but still, just saying.

2 things to remember.........

1) Why didn't Canseco put this in his 1st book???? He didn't know back then he would get the opportunity to write a 2nd book. If all of this is true like he says, why not put it in the 1st book??

2) The GHOST WRITER of this book, who works for SI......walked away from this project because he felt it was all B.S. and not true. Mind you, that GHOST WRITER was the guy who was sued by head football coach MIKE PRICE about writing false and made up stuff. So, if a guy with a history of reporting crap walks away from this project, what does it tell you about this book??!??!!! YEAH...exactly!
