You are my favorite poster on finheaven, your reports are way better than anything put out by the writers for the three South Florida papers. If I could ever get a chance to watch a game at TSFKAJRS there is no one I'd rather see a Dolphins game with than you. :hail: :up:

Good job, Ozzy.

I told you guys about Channing Crowder during the draft. I said back then that Miami had drafted the best linebacker in the entire draft, and I stand by that. He will stick his nose in there and fill a gap, which is something that Derrick Johnson wouldn't do.

What you are describing is exactly what I saw him do against Mississippi State last season. He got credited with something like 18 tackles in that game, but I thought he was in on a lot more. It seemed like he was always the first or second guy in on the play. His instincts are incredible, and if his knees hold out, he's going to be an All-Pro, IMO.

I remember you cheering him up, and for good reason. I actually paid some more time in todays practice watching the D, and who was the first player I see make a tackle inside? You guessed it, Crowder.

And man, he is huge! He and Spragen both are big boys. That means to me that this team should be stout against the run this year.

Glad to hear Crowder could be for real. I remember hearing Chester had lost 35 pounds to get to 330, but now that I see the article I think the author was just looking at the media guide. In actuality Chester may be 360. But as strictly a nose tackle, that's not necessarily a bad thing (except for his health).
