OK, I went I saw I took notes. Please read this review understanding that it is the third day of training camp and the 5th practice overall. Before I get into the numbers a few topics/tidbits I wanted to cover

1. Yeremiah belll shows off his 6 pack abs all practice with his shirt up, its annoying and not impressive. It doesn't help his game much either:shakeno:

2. I caught Saban praising Travis Daniels at least 2 times last night

3. The Dline was switching like crazy I saw JT lining up as DT on some plays. they must have a HUGe palybook I dodn't see very many looks twice.

4. Larry chester, Holiday, and Traylor were on the bikes. It looked like a fat guy club. Chester walked with a limp when not on the bike

5. The following players went down for autographs after practice: Coach Saban, Jamar Martin, Heath Evans, Lamar Gordon, Ricky Williams, Matt Roth, Travis Daniels, KJ harris, Deandre Eiland, Rodney Reed, Keven Vickerson, Chris Solomona, Anthony Alabi, and Zach Thomas.

6. Matt roth got in another fight, this time it was with #60, Roth had his mask pushed up and then he took a cheap shot at the guys ribs and it was over rather quickly. His fire is great but that one may have got him ejected from a game on game day.

7. these guys stayed late to practice and go over other stuff: 41,48,50,52,57,56,53,51,67,62,92,62,65

Now for my review. This is soley based on the offense. This is a record of every pass, and every run play in a scrimige type setting. Sometimes it seems as if there are 2 scrimiges at a time but further analysis says that one is play development and one is execution. The stats below are based on that execution. My opinion is QB is our biggest question and I don't know where some of these other guys are watching camp cause I am MOST certanily not seeing some of the stuff they do!!!!! with that said, In development is where you see the most mistakes on both sides and the most huge gains.

Feeley -> Gordin Run for 0 yards
Feeley -> Morris run for 8 yards HUGE HOLE !!!!
Feeley -> Morris on a pitch, 7yards
Sage -> KJ Harris run for 4 yards
Sage -> KJ run for 0 yards

They cut into kicks at this point or i missed the td play

MARE 32 yarder .... ITSSSSS GOOOOOOOODDDD
Mare 37 yarder......ITSSSSS GOOOOOOOODDDD
Mare 42 yards.......WIDE RIGHT
Mare 42 yarder .... ITS GOOOOOOOD
Mare 42 yarder......ITS GOOOOOOOD

That concludes the play breakdown, now lets summarize the QB's

AJ - 10 Completions 80 yards - 14 Attempts - 1 Interceptions - 2 Sacks 79.46 QB Rating
Gus - 09 Completions 107yards - 13 Attempts - 1 Interceptions - 1 Sacks 87.6 QB Rating
Sage - 03 Completions 70 yards - 07 Attempts - 1 Interceptions - 0 Sacks 39 QB Rating
Brock- 00 Completions 00 yards - 01 Attempts - 0 Interceptions - 0 Sacks 35 QB Rating

This does not cover all the great or not so great plays doen in play development!!!! there were lots of both from both sides. Its my opinion that overall i still give the edge to GUS!!
Now the RB's

L Gordon - 05 Atempts - 08 yards - .6 Avg
S Morris - 03 Atempts - 19 yards - 6.3Avg
R Williams - 08 Atempts - 36 yards - 4.5Avg
KJ Harris - 06 Atempts - 24 yards - 6.0Avg

Again there were bigger runs but it was play development and i didn't want to count that as it skewed the results.

I'm skipping the WR cause theres really to many of them to get good stats off of, but you could figure it out for yourself.

I Didn't cover defense cause i was to busy jotting down play ideas and all these notes for you guys and the kids team i coach. I hope you enjoyed, maybe i'll do this type again please let me know!

Pilot, great report!!
I like this format because there are other guys out there giving us their views, and thats great, but in this format we can all get the actual stats.
Thanks for a very good report!!

do you guys want more stuff stat based oir opinion based reviews cause what ever the masses want the masses will get !!!!

I like the stats... very interesting... Ill stick to the analysis and leave the stats to you though... Its cool how you charted every play... never thought of that... I dont know what everyone else would perfer... but I would probably keep the stat aproach just to give the people who dont get to see it in person a couple different looks of camp... rather than the opinion analysis that we all do... keep up the good work AP...

Nasty

Great Job

The following players went down for autographs after practice: Coach Saban

What position does he play?

Anyways good job its always good to read reports from different people.

Why dont you mix it up a bit with stats and opinions

:rofl3: Wow, Gordon doubled his YPC from last year! In 5 more years, he'll be in the gaudy 1.5 YPC range

well it seems like that Gordon is just stickin up the place big time. I doubt that any team would want him right now. Anyway though, thanks for the great report.
