Weds Evening Camp Report

Yep, getting those passes knocked down will cause anyone to struggle.
 
I'm going to beat out both of them for the #2 spot by Indy!

Im not even sure its a real topic lol

Nobody outside this board sees White as a fulltime qb prospect
 
I can tell most of you guys don't watch other teams preseason games. Steelers back up QBs, Arizona's back up QBs BOTH make henne look like a chump. Henne is very average. White is anything but average..

And you based this on his 2 for 7 performace throwing 8 yard passes versus soon to be stockboys
 
The fact that half his passes were on rollouts says something. They have to get him into space because he is so small.

Not to completely knock you here, but did you put up 2 for 7 numbers like we didn't see the game..aren't you forgetting how many were dropped.. I only saw one pass he miss, and I'm not sure he missed it, but threw it away..all in all, he had a very good debut.. Is he ready for prime time NFL time right now.. I don't think so, but the guy was on the money in his throws.. He seem poised, and he looked like he knew what he was doing, even though I know he had to be nervous...but you could tell he's played qb before, we've had some qb's in here that didn't look half as good as white, and they were being considered for our starting job..

I put up the actual numbers not some what ifs. Drops are a part of the game. My key point was he did not do anything amazing and it was all short passes. He lookd solid out there but really it was not all that and he was playing against future stockboys
Hell I have heard people rave about Beck after a preseason game did not make him a world beater either. There was nothing shown in that game to show he will be a better qb than Henne was all I was saying.
