Week 1 - First NFL Game

Here's some pics from our first NFL game. We had an awesome time. For anyone that has not yet been to a game, I would urge you to go just to experience the live game.

- game went by super fast vs watching on TV
- like baseball, the field/stadium looks so much bigger on TV.
- getting loud with fellow dolphin fans was awesome (and this was a road game).
- feeling the energy in the stadium (for skins) on 3rd/4th and short was amazing, truly electric.
- I definitely will be looking to make it out again. We had a great time!

Really? It seems to me that the game goes by much much slower in person, because you are sitting in the stands waiting three minutes for each tv commercial. Great pics. :up:

I loved my first game in person, but all the stop starting drove me mad (hate it in tv as well though - big reason why itl never go mainstream overseas)

Lol no getting blacked out drunk these days for me , had my fill earlier in life. Yeah, tv timeouts suck, but I was used to that from college game. But as a whole, the game seemed to fly by for me. First half came quickly, and next thing I knew it was 4th quarter.

A guy at work "warned" me about the game flying by....was surprised he was right.

I like the pauses in the game. Get to soak in the atmosphere and chat with other finfans around me. Plus those breaks can be beneficial to the defense if it's a critical part of the game and 2nd or 3rd down. Gives the PA announcer time to get everybody off their asses, amped up, ready to make some noise.
