miami with the ball, 2 yards from the endzone, down by 3. what does saban do? kick the field goal to go into overtime or go for the win? i would hope that he would keep the offense on the field and give em a chance to get 6. a win in week one will take us a long way with confidence. i would hate to see us go into overtime only to lose and make the players feel just like last year. i believe in the herm edwards theory of playing to win the game. imo that is a big reason the jets always seem to find a way to get into the playoffs cuz the players know that thier coach will give them the chance to win if given the oppurtunity instead of just tying the game.

At home that call can be go for a TD or the feild goal. It really depends on how you got down there, how your offensive has been, whats been working etc. if it is a road game, you take the 3 and go to OT. just a rule i guess.
