Week 1 - PFF After Action Report - Jaguars vs. Dolphins

Got to admit. I was pretty pissed with that offensive line after the first half showing. And would have never expected Liam to have a game like yesterday. He was either down the field or opening up a lane on his side. Will gladly eat all the crow if this continues.

I reminded myself after seeing Tua miss those throws he normally makes yesterday that this is the first half of football these guys have played together. The whole team looked rusty. Luckily the came on quickly and found their stride in the 2nd half. Hats off to the OL for sure.
Not sure what film yall watched but the dude was consistently lost at the 2nd level and had many opportunities to crush a safety or corner and instead sticks a arm out like it's doing something. He'll he could crushed 2 at once on that achane screen in the first quarter.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looked like Tua was hitting on 2nd 3rd reads which I hoped he would progress on. The TD to Reek looked like a 2nd read, as well as the bomb to Waddle.

You may be right, but it seemed those 2nd/3rd reads were dump offs behind the LOS

Could care less. He's arrogant and dismissive.

I have no problem admitting when I am wrong, nor acknowledging good play.

But rather then carrying on a conversation he feels the most important thing to do is respond with an insult.

So, I could care less how Verse some may think he is.

You’re worried about arrogant and dismissive posters on this forum? I thought it was a membership requirement!

and the criticism of Aaron Brewer since the day he was signed should now be revealed as the pure ignorance it was.
Cannot pass protect?

Child, please.
I saw that his win rate last year in pass protection was top 10 for centers. He accumulated a lot of sacks because his QBs held the ball too long.

I also think some of the Eichenberg hate came as a reaction to his draft status and his failure to be an effective tackle at the NFL level.
Fans turned on him when he struggled.
It's not uncommon, though, for someone to be drafted high to play tackle, fail, and end up having a solid career as a guard (Robert Gallery anyone?). If he is solid here moving forward, there are worse things.
Yea, and he was never supposed to be our starting LT his rookie season. He was also not supposed to be our center. Dude had high prospects as a guard though, and look at him now!

Jonu lining up seemingly 17 yards offsides was unbelievable. I didn't catch it in real time, but when the broadcast showed the replay... that was egregious.
It's funny you mention that. If you watch the All-22 and just click through the offensive plays, at the beginning of Every Single Play without fail, every time, is Hill pointing at the line judge for his "good to go" lineup. It's like a cartoon reel watching it start everytime.

Also strong username to topic relation. 👍

That topic was broached a lot in his defense but some folks just seemed to fixate on sacks allowed and there was no wavering to considering the circumstances.
Was the win rate info you saw by Next Gen, or by PFF?
