Week 11... We're 5-5... How will the team finish out the season??

I think its time to look at each week and predict who you think will win each game...

12 Carolina Loss (I believe this will be another New Orleans Saints game, except its not on Monday Night)
13 @Jets Win (Phins will rise to this rivalry)
14 @Pitts Loss (It'll be a good game, but I believe the Steelers have found their groove)
15 Patriots Loss (The Pats are still too tuff for us... Sadly its a loss)
16 @Bills Win (Its gonna be cold.. its gonna be snowy and we got revenge on our mind.. Dolphins all the way)
17 Jets Win End the season with a win.. against the dreaded Jets and the best part.. SWEEP!!)


Thats the way I see it ending.. The Dolphins will go 8-8 and miss the playoffs... But its not all bad, this year we've exposed some of the REAL problems with the organization and I foresee positive changes coming next year...

we here this every single year. i am tired of it.

lets stop with the loser mentality, if we miss the playoffs, especially this season considering the 6th seed is going to have a weak record, and considering we started off 3-0, its a major failure. everyone who disagrees can take there lose mentality into next season, but for me, its playoffs or failure.

no excuse to miss playoffs after 3-0 start, and with the 6th seed being so weak.

enough of the excuses for this team, if the qb is as good as ppl claim, he should be able to make big plays and carry us.

if our defense is good, let them step up and make big plays.

we control our own destiny, if we miss the playoffs, we only have ourselves to blame.
 
I hope 9-7, but 8-8 is more realistic. 3 of the 4 games we really need to win are on the road.
Need to beat the Steelers, the Jest x2, and the Bills in order to make the playoffs.

Hoping for 9-7 but my gut says 8-8. Just really hope they win in a couple games @ the Jets since I'll be attending the game with a few Dolphins fans.
 
Looking at how the season has gone so far, I would say they beat the Panthers, Patriots, and the Jets once. Win games you probably shouldn't and lose games you should definitely win.
 
I don't really think it matters who we play....8-8 is all this team deserves at the moment. All the games will be close so that we question the coaches, Ireland, talent....etc. etc. etc. This team has no identity, and until they find one it's mediocrity as usual.

I know what you're saying and I too would love to see a magical change... today... and our team will instantly become a dominant force and win every super bowl from now to 2050... But I found out that magic and hope upon hope doesnt work too well in the real world.. So I have to look at logic and trends..

What I see is stoopid owner trying hard to make the right moves, but clearly lacks the knowledge and experience... But, he is trying and each year we've shown progression, maybe not in the win/loss column, but its still progress and that one day he finds that special GM with both common sense and football know how, is the day we will become a contender.. In the meantime we're stuck with baby steps forward as these clowns fumble and bumble their way thru each season...

This is how success is measured. If you did better than your previous years record you were successful if not you were not successful. Although given how much we spent in FA a 1 game increase from last year and finishing 8-8 is a majorly unsuccessful season.
 
Under other circumstances I think we beat Pitt and NE. I'm hopeful but unfortunately I don't think we get 7 wins.
 
I'm going with 4-2 and finishing 9-7. That may or may not get us into the playoffs. Our two losses will be Pats and panthers. If we steal one of those and not let down. 10-6 and the last spot.
 
based on the first 10 games, it seems very likely we go 8-8 with losses to the bills and jets twice.
