Miami did not move up and in some rankings even moved down.

the NFL.com one was the funniest one. Not only did we MOVE DOWN, but in the Bills ranking they said "The Dolphins are the weakest team in the NFL with seven wins or more. Buffalo will host Adam Gase's upstarts at New Era Field on Christmas Eve. "

Just keep Winning Miami, For the love of GOD, please keep winning!

Enjoy the victory week fellas! FINS UP

I guess they didn't hear that the saints game vs the rams was Sean Paytons super bowl. They killed LA because it was personal.

espn's has denver at 7-4 ahead of KC 8-3 who just beat them.
None of this stuff matters.

At least Miami went up in the ESPN rankings. The Giants won and dropped 4 spots (behind the Steelers too despite being 8-3 vs. their being 6-5).

CBS Sports has them up a spot to #10:

Winning six straight has them in the playoff hunt. Their game at Baltimore this week will feel like a playoff game.

They're up a spot on Yahoo as well to #13 (and are behind the Bills):

Kiko Alonso had a great rookie season with the Buffalo Bills in 2013. Then he basically disappeared for two injury-filled years, but is back now. He has 91 tackles, two interceptions, a forced fumble and is one of the biggest reasons the Dolphins are back in the playoff race

What does it matter, just keep winning, and forget these OPINIONS. Personally I hope (WISH), they would just all rank Miami #32, while Miami continues to win each and every game.

Who ****ing cares?

Every year we get these bogus threads about "power rankings"...:bobdole:

One reason is that we do not get many highlights on these shows in the first place. When we do it usually comes with a snarky comment about how we are "frauds" or "pretenders" and it is on practically every show or in print, so I see the frustration.

Why are all these ratings acting like we almost lost? Its not like we were only up 4 and they were driving for a TD. They'd still have to make an xp to tie (which is no longer a given in the NFL) and go to OT, or try for a 2 pt after our pash rush caught its breath and our short yardage pass D was balling. Comparing this to the browns game is ridiculous IMO. THAT was a game we should've lost.

Either way, **** the power rankings, **** national media coverage, just win baby!

They are just opinions. If they just went by teams records, there would be no point in even making power rankings. Not that I personally see a point in them, but I guess some people do.

So much passive aggressive bull**** in these ranking comments

Now that we have the obligatory "No one cares" comment out of the way.....

I figured we'd stay put at best this week since a lot of other teams around us won. As already mentioned, we beat Baltimore and then we move up.....beat Baltimore in a quasi playoff atmosphere and we get the national respect and attention, which is what these rankings are pretty much about and why people are interested in seeing them every week.

It's fun to rank sh*t. Cars, Teams, Video Games, Chicks, etc.....

Not sure I can disagree with this...squeaking by some of the worst teams in the league and not really putting anyone away. We'd be just as skeptical if it was another team. When we play some complete games and beat quality opponents, then we can bitch...
