heres the games that concern us

pittsburgh at cincinnati
baltimore at miami
indianapolis at cleveland
buffalo at denver
kansas city at arizona
new england at san diego

so we root for cincinnati, indianapolis, denver, arizona, and the last game it depends on what we do

none of the teams we're battling with have an easy game. after last week's bloodbath with all the 7-4 teams losing its not impossible that a 9-7 team gets in. if we go 10-6 we're making it, all these teams are losing a couple more. we're big cincinnati fans rest of the way, they got the steelers twice and cleveland, they can take care of 2 teams for us.

yes, we should root for the bengals from here on out.

i would add just for insurance purposes we want the texans to lose one more time. if they run the table and finish 10-6 they will own a lot of tiebreakers.

yea i was thinking about putting the texans on there but decided not to, i just stuck with the 7-5 teams.

im not worried about the browns or bills. in my opinion its gonna come down to these 4 teams for the 2 wild card spots: chargers, dolphins, ravens and steelers.

luckily, the Chargers remaining schedule is brutal. NE (primetime Sunday night), Denver, @ 49ers (Saturday night primetime), @ Chiefs

Here are the remaining schedules of the other teams. As everybody knows, this Ravens game is huge. I don't see us winning in Foxboro, so we finish 9-7 if we lose the the Ravens. If the Ravens beat us, all they need to do is beat the Jags and Browns at home to finish 10-6. And we would need way too much help for every other team to go 2-2 or worse to give us a shot at a tiebreaker for the other wildcard. Losing to the Ravens and Pats also damages our conference record in the event that we are lucky enough to be in a tie-break scenario at 9-7. On the other hand, we win our 3 home games, and the other teams face each other enough that I really like our chances.

Bills: @Broncos, Packers, @Raiders, @Pats
Ravens: @Fins, Jags, @Texans, Browns
Bengals: Steelers, @Browns, Broncos, @Steelers
Browns: Colts, Bengals, @Panthers, @Ravens
Steelers: @Bengals, @Falcons, Chiefs, Bengals
Chiefs: @Cardinals, Raiders, @Steelers, Chargers
Chargers: Pats, Broncos, @49ers, @Chiefs
Broncos: Bills, @Chargers, @Bengals, Raiders
Texans: @Jags, Colts, Ravens, Jags

Also, here's ESPN's playoff scenario. I know it's been posted before. http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/machine

first and foremost, i'm gonna root for Miami. THEN i'm gonna root for all the teams you just listed.

I like the fact that the NE-SD game next week potentially helps us no matter the outcome. SD loses, and it helps us in the wildcard race. NE loses and we would be fighting for the division.
