This past Sunday 4 out of 6 games went in our favor with:

Dolphins over Rams
Steelers over Patriots
Broncos over Jets
Niners over Bills

One's that didn't were:

Ravens over Bengals
Colts over Browns

So what do we need this coming week:

Dolphins over Bills
Niners over Jets
Seahawks over Patriots
Redskins over Ravens
Bengals over Colts

None of those other games really matter. We win the next three, we play for the division title vs. the Jets in the last week of the season. We lose any games till then, we are history. You can put the wild card pipe dreams away. The Colts will breeze to at least 11 wins vs. that schedule, and the Ravens should win at least 2 of their last 4.

If the Redskins somehow beat the Ravens, which I doubt, then we might have a shot at 10-6 to claim the 6 seed, but we would still need to have the Pats lose to the Bills, unless our lone loss in the last 4 isnt one of the divisional games.

Either way, if we lose to the Bills its over. If we beat the bills, I suspect we will get to 10 wins going into the last game anyways, and have a shot to win the division.

So what do we need this coming week:

Dolphins over Bills-this is do able
Niners over Jets-not gonna happen
Seahawks over Patriots-not gonna happen
Redskins over Ravens-possible but unlikely
Bengals over Colts-no chance in hell

I really really think we can win this division if we don't lose anyone else to injury...we are really thin at some key positions and this Buffalo game is going to be hard fought. If we make it out unharmed, the home game against the 49ers should be a relatively easy win, same for KC, then it's for all the marbles against the Jets.

I can't wait to be the talk of the NFL, 1-15 team wins division...it is gonna be soooo sweet. :D

HOW ABOUT THE RAVENS ARE GONNA LOSE EVERY GAME TILL THE END OF THE SEASON

Its possible, but I just dont see it. They are really good. Alot better than people realize. Their D gets mad props, and it should, but people need to wake up to the fact they are scoring ALOT of points as of late. I think they have a damn good shot to win that division.

And just for arguments sake, even if the Ravens get stuck at 9 wins.....The Colts are a lock to win at least 10 if not 11 or 12. So they are getting one of those wildcards.

So even if the Ravens fade, we would still need to edge out the Pats. And to do that with a 10-6 mark, we will either need them to lose to Buffalo, or we ourselves cant lose a divisional game. Which means we would have to go 10-6 and in the process beat both the Bills and Jets on the road. Which means our loss will have to be to KC or SF. Its just not likely. If we beat the Bills and Jets, we are most likely going 11-5 and if that happens we are division champs.

Lets just go get Buffalo this week and we are in business for a huge game in week 17.

I don't think people have realized yet how HUGE this game is this week. I mean it is just as big as the Pats game that we had . . . even bigger because we lost that Pats game. All jokes aside, if we lose this game . . . the playoff dream is going to be real dim . . as we would need the Pats to lose against Buffalo . . . or lose twice . . . and we still would need the Ravens/Colts to lose 3 . . . or hope the Jets lose 3 times. It is exciting, but it will be more exciting after this Sunday . . . because like u pointed out . . . if we lost a game . . . it can be against a San Fran or KC (if we lost to KC the Pats would equal our conference record, but I think strength of victory is next . . . and we are +5 from our games wit NE). . . and it wouldn't be nearly as devastating as a loss to the Bills (tho we still would need NE to lose atleast one more time).

Either way its still exciting to play meaningful games in December . . . but we gotta bring our A game on Sunday.

As far as help . . . I mean I would root against the Colts . . . but they definitely should win the next 2 . . . but I'll keep tuned I guess.

The main teams to root against are the Ravens and Patriots . . . even rooting against the Jets doesn't mean much as I don't see them losing all 3 games before our game.

I like Bmore . . they are tuff . . . but they do have 4 tuff games ahead . . . especially the next 3 . . . where potentially they could be dogs in all 3. Pats . . . man that game we lost against them was so huge . . . but anytime they lose its a plus for us.

But all of this is meaningless if we keep winning, as we win the division by winning out . . . and that is the most important thing to realize.

IMO the only one that has a definite chance of losing is the Ravens....it won't be a cake walk getting past them Redskins.

Seattle has a chance against the Pats, the game is in Seattle and IMO if they had Matt Hasselback they would have beatin us. much different team with him

i think 3 of those games go in our favor, Seattle over NE, Miami over Buffalo and Washington over Baltimore

We need to win out to have a legitimate shot at the post season. If we lose one more game then our fate is no longer in our hands.

I see us winning, the Jets winning, the Cheatriots losing, the Ravens losiing, and the Colts winning

i believe seattle and the skins have a real good chance. seattle is better than their record, and new england will be traveling across country. never easy.
