In the voice of the English dub of Iron Chef Announcer Kenji Fukui:

- Today at Joe Robbie Stadium, hopeful teams collided in a battle of skill and daring to determine whether or not the perennial losers, the Buffalo Bills, would end one of the longest playoff droughts in the history of pro sports!

- And what a battle it was! We saw incomplete passes, poor tackling, unsportsmanlike brawls, gruesome injuries, and so much more! This battle truly embodied the fighting spirit of these two football teams. I was actually speechless after witnessing this historic contest of football giants.

- Challenger David Fales tried to make the most of his appearance today, but under the pressure he faced this afternoon, we saw errant throws and lapses in judgment. At times the game appeared to be too big for him, but still he fought on with determination. Was his performance enough to win a backup role in 2018? Well, probably not.

- Late in the football game, hopeful 15 million dollar man Jarvis Landry dropped the football! As struggling David Fales placed the ball right on the money to the open Landry, he simply failed to reel it in, resulting in an incomplete pass, and ultimately leading to another turnover on downs.

- The Miami Dolphins have attempted a daring creation: A defense without linebackers who make any plays! Only at Joe Robbie Stadium can we see such revolutionary X's and O's creations on a weekly basis.

- Cordrea Tankersley forgot one of the key elements of pass defense in the NFL: Looking for the football! A blunder that will surely haunt him this off-season.

- While many believe that a loss was the best thing in the long run for the Miami Dolphins, what a terrible note on which to end the season. The Buffalo Bills, a perennial joke of a franchise, were so confident of victory in this contest that they started letting their defensive linemen score joke touchdowns on the Dolphins. Truly a sad display.

- I got up for a few moments, and when I sat back down, I saw a replay of Kenyan Drake being repeatedly punched and choked by #56 of the Bills at the bottom of the pile. I have some sympathy for Drake's helmet throw in response. If a man had just punched and choked me with impunity, I would probably throw his helmet, too. Really, I think most of us would want to do more than that.

- Cody Parkey just might be the best kicker in football.

And now, the moment of truth: evaluation and judgment. Our panel today... is you! I invite each and every one of you to vent your frustrations from this wretched 2017 season here in this thread.

Please have a happy and safe New Year, everyone.

If the Bengals don't come back, one has to ask what would have been for the Bills if they hadn't gone with the Nathan Peterman experiment.

I was disappointed that it looked like a lot of our team was against Drake, more specifically Aikens special teams pro

Bengals win!!! Bengals win!!! Miami picks 11th. But I’ll remember this season as the season of a coke head coach, a team with lack of discipline, a barrage of penalties, a defensive coordinator, who looked over matched and overwhelmed for most of the season, a head coach, who seems too arrogant for his own good and finally a Draft and UDFA haul of players that made contributions like I’ve never seen in all of my life as a Dolphins fan. The results of a 6-10 season, doesn’t begin to take away what these kids did in their 1st year as pros. Congratulations to them. As for the organization, they need to make some adjustments and possible changes to move headed with a hopeful successful 2018 season.

We need to teach our WRs how to secure the football after the catch - how many fumbles was that on them this year?

Also, the penalties make this team so frustrating to watch - whatever the issue is - dumb players or bad coaches please fix this for next year...

So the Bills are in. Disgusting.

Guess the only upside is those stupid Ravens aren't.

Or they were trying to get him to calm down.

Absolutely ridiculous that that bills player didn’t get ejected too

I saw a few good things today but mind you that I was watching at BJ's with no audio for the game and just watched the first 3 and then some of the 4 at home

Drake is a very good back and should be the starter next year
Grant made some progress and should be counted to help next year too

Anthony did some good things out there and some not so good but should at least be the 4th LB?

Fales did ok imo considering he hadn't played all year. Actually did better than Cutler did in many games. Does he belong in the NFL?
Maybe as a 3rd string for some team?

Our big LT today looked like a giant out there compared to the other guys. How did he do to you guys?
I thought he did ok considering it was his first game and playing a good front that has played all year.
I believe he might be a better RT and should at least compete for a spot next year

Seeing all those open guys over the middle once again is frustrating and we have to fix that
Baker from Ohio ST. could really help but in what round do we pick him?

On to free agency and the draft. Who goes and who stays

The way Landry took that last football with him tells me it could have been his last game for the Dolphins but who knows. Maybe he did it just in case

Now we get to root for NE to not win the super bowl and see how we do in the off season

Happy New Year everyone!!

Ozzy rules!!

So for next year:

Get some new LBs, new guard/center, new backup qb, new TE, and clean up the damn penalties

Agree. At least it's pretty apparent what the weaknesses are. I think if the front office can fix the offensive line and add speed/athleticism at linebacker that would go a long way to improving the team.

Next year...If we cant cut down the penalties I'm going to have an aneurism. After hitting eight in the first half I was apopletic. That and LB play...It would be nice to have a LB corps that includes a LB that does LB things like tackle near the LOS, cover TEs and RBs and stacks and sheds blockers consistetently. Oh and a TE that is an actual threat to catch the ball. And an actual FS that covers a tremenous amount of ground, goes and gets balls and can cover. And 17 healthy and looking like he did when he was hurt.
