Week 9 Predictions
I had the best week last week, going 10-4. That puts Miguel and myself in a first place tie for the season. It’s a good sign that all of us faired a lot better than the prior week. Not one of us had a week under .500. See, we aren’t all that dumb. We all know our football except our web-master who can be a little on the not so smart side (just playing with you AJ). Anyways, the obvious big games of the week are Bledsoe playing his former team and our Dolphins going up against Favre (well maybe Pederson) and the Packers. Looks like a good week of football.

Spreads for this week:

thats kind of funny that this bills fan is talking about homers.

Hey, I have some reasoning behind my picks. I don't think New England is going to keep losing forever. I think Brady is poised to prove to SOMEBODY that NE made the right move and kept him, not Bledsoe. What a perfect day to do it. I may have leaned toward the Phins a little bit but I did predict GB to win in my game preview this week by 3, which would still let Miami win vs. the spread. Just because I pick Miami to win vs. the spread doesn't mean I think they will win straight up. See, I'm not a homer, just a guy who has nothing better to do in his spare time except pick the winners of NFL games.

True, I'm jes' phunnin ya.

Bif/NE is probably the toughest game this week to predict. Indy/Tenn is next.

Well, at least I can see the game. With the dumb TV stations down here in Miami (they show college football games on ABC like Ohio St. vs. Purdue instead of the Big 12 match between Oklahoma and Iowa St., they also do the same thing for NFL games) at least they had some sense to show this game. I would of thought that instead of seeing the Bills-Patriots and 49ers-Raiders, the two best games of the day, they would instead show us the Jets getting destroyed by the Chargers. No one wants to see that, except Phin fans who just love to see the Jets lose (I would rather see good football).
